Before I had random sticky/ scrap paper notes scattered all over my work office and apartment from classes, meetings, and research. It drove me crazy and the thought of having to sort through them later was daunting.. so I use office 365 to keep all my notes, documents, and presentations in the same location and accessible between devices. keeping all of my notes from various meetings, classes and topics in one place is much more efficient and means less paper and heavy notebooks to haul (I have a 30 minute walk to school!). It also means I am more likely to take a look at my notes when they are stored in a more convenient way. With office 365 you can access all your documents from any device which gets rid of the fear of putting all your eggs in one basket - I don't have to worry about losing all my notes! I keep them all in OneNote. The special literature citation features in word and powerpoint also makes dissertation and manuscript writing more enjoyable.

With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. Will not renew just upgrade to office 2016 after my year is up.
