I liked when I had to wipe the computer that I could just go to my account online and retrieve the programs again without having to worry about new disk and all. I wish everything was not going to the whole subscription thing over the just buying it concept.

Today, I needed to update a document on the fly, during a meeting. Microsoft a Word would not let me update the document, and instead wasted my time prompting me to sign in and telling me features that I’ve paid for would be acceptable if I had a subscription well, I HAVE a current, valid subscription, It’s been less than a year, my subscription is not up. I switched to Pages on the iPad, and it worked fine and I got it done and submitted before the meeting was over. Microsoft pandering & promoting for new subscriptions way before the current one is up, blocking features is NOT cool. You’re supposed to help customers be more productive, not make us totally inefficient,
