Absolutely a must for students! Love my macbook pro but I still prefer a Windows office.

It's a solid product that does everything needed and expected, but is ruined by the fact it is subscription based. Unless you are purchasing this product for a personal business / company, the value of these Microsoft Applications is no longer there. Google sheets and docs works in a similar manner, and it is FREE. I think it is time to say goodbye to this subscription based crap...

Changed from a desktop to a laptop which included the update to Windows 10. He loves it.

At first the price seemed like a "deal" but then I found out I will have to "renew" it every year for another $99. I would have preferred to buy the traditional Office pkg for a one-time price. The software is a jump up from the older Office 2007 that I had been using so it is taking me some time to get used to it. But it is workable.

This was originally cost-effective if you used the cloud storage. However, Microsoft has recently increased the price by $30/year with the forced addition of Copilot, despite its dubious usefulness. Microsoft offers a way to "downgrade" to the Classic version (keeping the original price and features, without Copilot). Unfortunately, if you purchased your subscription through Best Buy, this is not an option for you. Best Buy refuses to allow this downgrade option. It took two hours with support and 12 transfers to find this out. There is no way to purchase the cheaper "Classic" version without downgrading an existing account, which Best Buy will not allow, which means you are locked into the more expensive version with no alternative.

Perfect product for work and the kids for school. Great to save documents to the cloud.

always easier to download than use a disc in today's digital age unlike the "old" days

It is honestly worth it to have Office from year to year and get the most updated apps. You could shell out $150 dollars for a one time subscription, but chances are, you would end up re-purchasing Office the next time you buy a computer. Well worth it!

Not happy everything on my phone backs up on the free Google Drive memory I get. I have adjusted what backs up from my phone, we'll see how it all works.

I recently purchased this along with a new laptop. Has everything I need for my online schooling. Very happy with my purchase. I will have this on my computer for a year, and it automatically renews. So I went have to worry about it.
