I don't see much difference from older versions except for the security settings. When I try to open a document from an email, it tries to open in "protected view", but it never opens (1-2 hours). I have tried the help menus, but can't find a solution.

I would definitely recommend for college students!

Not quite sure what has been added. The only change I can see for the most part is the updated look. Big deal. When I want to open I file from email or a website, they don't load. I have to save the document to hard drive and open it from there.

Product is slightly different than the Office I was used to....nobody told me about that. Luckily, I'm a quick learner even though I don't appreciate having to learn something new (still adjusting to Windows 8) in the midst of starting college.

After calling Microsoft and being passed around to 6 different people over the course of 45 minutes, I finaly reached someone who knew about Word on a Mac. However, this person "Clair" could not fix my problem and told me to call back in 6 hours because the microsoft servers were having problems. I reluctantly told her ok but that she needed to provide me a direct number so I wouldn't have to be passed around again, but she refused and told me to call 1-800-microsoft instead. I asked if I could speek to her manager and she told me she "would not be available any time soon". I then asked for her manager's email or phone number but she rudely responded that she wasn't allowed to give that out. Finaly, I told "clair" to give her manager my phone number (which I provided) and email address and have her contact me when available. Well, I think we all can guess that never happened and my software never got working. I have uninstalled this JUNK from my beloved Mac and will no longer be purchasing ANY Microsoft products for myself or any family members (after being a windows user for 15 years). I never really bought the hype about Microsoft losing it's luster untill now. Avoid this product!

If you go to a Community College it is hard to install, you have to call customer service to get connected. Customer service is great, just time consuming to call, wait and get started on homework when you need to.

If you absolutely need Microsoft office and you have no other way to get it then I would say hold on to it. I liked using the older version of office than this one. 2010 was the last really good version

Of course the Suite is a must have for a student like me who uses most of the features for a range of class assignments, but the pricetag will be a blow to those who are used to it coming pre-installed on their computer.

This item is not that great and you have to buy a subscription renewal. If you don't have to purchase don't. If you can use an old copy go with that. It's not worth the money you pay for the service.

I have had all kinds of problems with this office program. It freezes, and for a while I couldn't open up any downloads in Office. I don't know why that happened, but it seemed to resolved itself eventually.

This software is value oriented with inter related corresponding applications in several important areas. It has a clumsy interface for use with merging selected database fields with documents to print only those selected fields. Works 4.5 offers more value in a 20 year old product in that regard. The download was glitchy and required several calls to tech support to recover. Upon attempting to download to the laptop, the system refused to acknowledge the software from that purchase and I was forced to buy a second application before the download would commence. Very disappointing.

Office 365 runs incredibly slow on my MacBook Pro, which I just got it for 2 days and expect everything would run very smoothly and greatly. Sorry, I just had very high expectations for you!

my school is not listed in its location of bristol tn although two other locations of the same school i attend is and it plays hell verifying me and it still has not let me in, so i am very unhappy with it

Office 365 is alright but by far not the best. It can be confusing to navigate and Microsoft has made the downloading process extremely difficult. If I had a choice I would go back to Office 2010.

University Office 365 was a horrible purchase. It infected my new computer with a virus which took 3 days to fix. Microsoft obviously must know of this problem but it is still being sold.

I bought this because I'm attending two different colleges. Microsoft does not recognize either of the colleges even though both are texas colleges! Buy the old Word 2010 and skip this one.

This product is terrible. We could never set it up, even with the geek squad help, Microsoft help, and the schools help. I wouldn't ever recommend this to anyone it's a waist of time.

Was given the wrong product for the Apple Mac and it's nonrefundable I would advise you to take your computer with you when you go to buy this product to ensure you get the right key code

I really did not like the price of this. I only opted to by this one because it was the cheaper out of all the options. That being said, I do enjoy this new tools and look of Office.
