I first installed the program which was not as easy as it could be and then had to deal with Microsoft glitches that would not let me sign into my account and therefore wouldn't allow me to access my documents. I recommend spending the $20 or so more for the disc version of Microsoft Office.

Windows 8 might be more of the culprit than the Microsoft software. However, since it is the same software company they have truly made sure your working time is more complicated. Most functions have to be done now using Control Panel rather than through Open, Save, or Close dialog boxes.

My computer broke and I can no longer even try. Once my computer gets fixed, I'll try again BUT I will have to contact Microsoft because it gives a message that this key code has already been used even though it hasn't

I'll invest in a different brand next time!!!!!!!!

My experience was with a qualifying customer who submitted the required identification and email etc. to activate. MS took quite a while to respond and it delayed the installation of the unit to the user.

It was useless not worth it, you will not need this.

Havent been able to use it cant get it to download

This is the second time that we have tried to purchase the university version. Neither Delta College or Fresno State emails are recognized by this software. Each time, however, Best Buy has been wonderful and exchanged it for a different version.

I love office, I just think that they overcharge a lot.

Can't access word or excel thru PTC course programs

it will not download and has 2 error messages. the only thing that works is powerpoint. the computer I am trying to install on has windows 7 and is a new computer

Tried installing it on my home computer, when it went to verify my e-mail a second time it had changed my e-mail address (first went through just fine). Went to call the customer support number that I got from Best Buy and it was missing a digit in the number, call the Best Buy where it was purchased (Clarksville, TN) and the number I was given was a disconnected number. Next went to Microsoft web site to get a number and the number listed was to a dating site. Tosed it out as a waste of time and money doubt I'll get a downloadable program like that again. I would highly discourage any college student from getting this telling them to save their money and wait for a computer to open up at the university library

We couldn't get this to install on our new computer, despite many tries. The store wouldn't accept a return. We just installed Open Office instead.

I purchased my Lenovo touch screen computer with this and couldn't install it because I do not have a student verification code. The sales person I talked to did not mention that the Office 365 University is only valid for installation if you are a student or teacher/professor. I would have selected a different computer had I known this was not going to work. What's the point of offering a product if it only works for a select few. And I should have been advised about the stipulations as well.I tried calling Best Buys and Microsoft to help me at least get a verification code but no one helped and instead gave me the run around. I will not recommend this to any of my family and friends.

bought for a stats class w mac. had to upgrade the mac, which i have done - and have been unable to install windows despite calls to microsoft help line. Will try again when i have time, but need to plan on spending 2 hours with them without promise that it will help. Am frustruated and unhappy w tech support. Bought it over a month ago and still unable to use for class. Im sure if i could get it working i would have different product reviews.

This is only a student subscription for 4 years. In my opinion it is worth the spend a little extra money and have it on your computer for life. I would not have purchase this product had I been informed it was only a subscription.

the product have a very complicated system for being installed, I got very tired and almost quit it, it`sfrustrating take so many days and hours from something that you paid for. Is that difficult to make it simply get working?

I did not receive a product key, just got a piece of cardboard in the mail. Called, had four different Geek Squad people tell me four different things. Finally a Geek Squad guy got on my computer and swore he had got the product installed and working. When I went to pull up Word a few days later, there was no Word on my computer. Called back. Was told to call Microsoft to get a product key. Microsoft was extremely curt, telling me they did not give out product keys. Called Best Buy and relayed that. Then the Best Buy customer service guy told me he did not know what to do. I demanded my money back.

You are now only buying access to the software and you have to agree to give them personal info that they sell to advertisers to better spam you, They also place cookies on your computer to track your usage, I was not ok with this. To get a refund I have to send it back and wait 8 weeks for a refund. Went online and downloaded Libreoffice for free and it works great!

It was difficukt for me to install, I returned to the store and they had me to make an appointment to see the Geek squad the following day. It was a waste of time. The sales person should have been able to help.
