problems with copy and pasting,takes to long update. should have to rent this for the same price that in the past i could own it.

Purchased it and haven't received there email it's been a month I haven't had time to give them a call... They ask for my student email and it hasn't gone thru

Since I received that, I'm unable to use it,or I don't know how to use it. Therefore, I need help for that

I was told this would work on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S but was misinformed. Windows 365 is not available on the Android platform yet. :-(

i could not use this software because my old laptop had ms 10 university and i had to load that version in my new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was given university edition and didn't catch it until it was to late to return. So I'm unable to use it and wasted my money.

Since my school does not have .edu address I had to send in my proof. I sent to MS and NOTHING never got a response!

Never was able to use. Never was able to identify my university. It is a major Midwestern school.

Do not recommend this product to anyone - lots of issues trying to load into the computer

I bought this for my surface pro and i love it! i use it everyday for school. I am also a student and received a student discount which made me love it more

This review is primarily based on the activation/installation process. Once installed, the software is the same as a conventional installation of Office 2011, which I generally think is an improvement over previous versions. The process of activating the product (linking it to Microsoft account) and then verifying eligibility for University product was somewhat cumbersome. Started with page to type in activation key, which then prompted me to create a Microsoft account. There isn't, however, good connectivity between the generic Microsoft account creation so once I created my account it didn't continue on with Office activation and I had to start that process over with typing in activation key. Once I had the key linked to account, I ran into bugs with verification process. Their database of eligible institutions listed my university with 6 different slight variations of spelling, abbreviation, etc. Once selecting one of them I was prompted to enter my official school email address, which it said was not valid (even though I am a full time student and meet all requirements). Considering that you only get 3 tries to enter a correct email this is a little problematic. I then started over, entering the activation code for the 3rd time, and chose another one of the options for my school from the database. This time it worked and instructed me to wait for verification email to arrive. I clicked the verification link but got additional error messages stating that there was something wrong with their website and that I should start over again. Finally was able to get the software activated after starting the process for the 4th time. When it was all said and done I spent more time trying to activate software than actually downloading and installing the package.

No return policy...... Better to just buy the regular office program

Trying to sell. Not for a beginner.. Very hard to install..

Not worth tge money. Return it as soon as you can.

Before I begin, let me say this: YOU MUST BE A UNIVERSITY STUDENT OR FACULTY. You will be required to validate this software using a .edu email address. If you are a student or faculty member at a university, you can't go wrong with this set. $80 will get you 4 years of Office, including outlook, with updates to all future versions of Office, and additional SkyDrive storage to back up all your files to the cloud. No matter where you go or what happens to your computer and harddrive, your files can be backed up online, while also using the powerful Office software (you are not limited like on Google Docs). And at 20 bucks a year, this can't be beat. Installation was very quick and easy (simplest installation of Office I've ever had), and it was very easy to validate your university email (Microsoft sends you an email with a validation link to click).

At a glance, it is like buying a Microsoft office at higher price but then when you open it, the University part comes in. It is ridiculously convenient and I like it. It is very user friendly and I think it is fool proof. It is very basic and they even have an applet that can let you record notes which is neat considering the fact that tree huggers now have an applet that they can use to type their notes on. It is pricey and I thought I got ripped considering that I bought my MacBook Retina display the same day I bought this Microsoft office. The cool thing about this is that it is only offered to college students and teachers which is kinda neat because we have primary access to applets that will actually ease our lives while writing papers and all that stuff. If you're a college student, buy this! you will regret buying the ordinary one once you see your chums in school using the university edition. I would recommend this to everyone!

I have been using office 2007 for some time but made the jump to this product with a new laptop. The software works as advertised and is mostly intuitive. Insulation on a Mac was a bit cumbersome and required Microsoft customer support and a new code to work correctly. It was resolved promptly so I cant fault it too much on that note.
