The verification email they sent had no link in it, and when I tried to upload documentation as proof of my student status, I never received a reply email. That was all really frustrating UNTIL I started a chat session with their customer support and they got me set up right away. I know I will have to "renew" every year (for 4 years) and that may be just as frustrating, but while I have it working on my computer, everything has been fine. So far I've only used Word and it's been just as easy to use as previous versions. I feel like I probably should have just paid the extra cost to have a permanent version of Office.

Glad you were able to get set up with Office 365 University. Just to clarify, you would renew Office 365 University every 4 years and not every year.

I would use the Mac equivalent but sharing and sending documents gets confusing. I did have a member of the geek squad install it and set it up for me because I'm not fully capable of that but it took no time at all.
