Perfect for doing the research papers, and all the stuff professors throw at you during a semester. I would recommend it to anyone starting college.

I thought this would be perfect for my freshman in college. I got home and spent 2 hours on the phone with Microsoft support because I was unable to download the program. Still not working and was told to call back the next evening for more advanced assistance from Microsoft. After another 2 1/2 hours on the phone and 3 technicians later, the program was finally installed. I hope this will be what my son needs and that everything will function properly because it was a nightmare installing it. The staff at Best Buy said it would take 15 minutes to download it - according to most the comments online for this product - almost everyone had problems similar to mine.

I'm glad i got the 365 it helps me personally, with school work, and with my business. i love using the outlook to make all my work, school activities and business all in one place but separated and you will know what i mean when you use it. i love using the OneNote it is so nice to have a electronic device note taking guide and all the tool that come with it. i really like the product over all but the one thing i like the most is the quality of all the stuff that it come with and how easy it is to use each and everything that the product provides

It's the same program package that Office has always had, but they keep improving the templates and the use of the programs. While it's not too different from the 2007 package I had before, there are some editing and formatting tools that are new. I'm still working to figure out some of the tools that aren't used daily, but if you can get the hang of it, each program has it's perk. I'm a student who uses all of these programs often so it's nice to have the package with my school account. This all works well on Windows 8, as well as Skydrive which is very helpful!

I saw complaints about cost or "no difference" in what was being swapped out. But, this was purchased to replace a Netgear AC1200 that was only a year old. MAJOR upgrade in coverage and speed. This was definitely a smart choice.

I do like the price on this software but not sure why I continue to get e-mails telling me to install the software. I already have. That makes me confused and is unnecessary.

Very affordable when purchased for/by a student for a product that is extremely valuable for writing papers/reports and creating spreadsheets.

I bought the University version because it would be cheaper and the guy working there recommended it. I am starting medical soon and when trying to register Office it did not find the school. I went through torture trying to get the school verified and it never was. Finally had to take it back to Best Buy and that was the worse thing to deal with. They were not going to take it back and I would be without $80 until I finally talked to a manager because the staff there should have known medical schools were not listed.

when i purchased our new computer i found they no longer include Office. irritating ! but found that my son needed the Office Suite for his college classes so HAD to buy it ! oh well, it works just fine for what my son needs it for.

The fact that you now have to renew your programs every year is just stupid. This pacakge is great because it is much cheaper in the long run over having to renew it each year.

Microsoft Office is practically a necessity in the world that we live in. Especially for students. I love that Microsoft offers a cost effective version of Office for students. Money is tight and this fits the bill perfectly.

This was difficult to install on the MAC. We had to get in touch with Geek Squad who then had to connect us to Microsoft and they had to remotely install this program for us.

The Microsoft office was a great purchase, but I have yet to use it. I can't figure out how to put it to my Mac. Very glad I bought it though, because it will help me with school work once I get it downloaded to my computer.

Excellent product for the price. Just what a university student needs. Some trouble setting up, but Microsoft support handled everything.

Office does everything and more in word processing and spreadsheets. Can't wait to try PowerPoint. Not so happy that your forced to purchase in 4 years. I liked it better when it was my choice to purchase newer version.

Great program as usual, I liked how there is a special price for students! It's also a plus where you can use it on more than one computer.

Easy product to install-great, reasonable price. Able to use this product on 2 devices. I was able to use this on my laptop and home computer!

I really love this product. I am really glad that I got it for free, but that is besides the point. This product really helps me as a student. It is fast, easy to use, and it has many different things. It is hard to completely go through it all so I would suggest trying to play with the program for a while before you go back to school or work. I still havent completely gone through everything, but it is amazing how much stuff is on this program. It will definitely help me out this coming school year. I am excited. Definitely should buy it!!

Having Office 365 included with the laptop is helpful to parents who are already having their bank accounts drained by college costs. We haven't used it much but it does seem to work well on our desktop & laptop as well as our Android tablets and phones. I don't care much for the subscription model unless the application requires updating to function correctly, such as virus scanners. Users tend to only use the basic functions in the Office suite so it seems to me that paying continually for new features you don't use is a waste.

This is great for college students, you can use it on your smartphone,your laptop. It's very helpful and cheap for 4 years.
