This seemed to be the best value since it'll last for 4 years and I can share it with my younger sister who also got a computer to use.

A great version of Office

This university edition is worth the $100, because it is $100 worth of better than any free Office option. I use Google Docs, Open Office, and MS Office for Skydrive. They are all great in their own way, but there is a reason most people stick with MS.
