    My Home & Student 2021 was no problem, the Digital install was very easy, and it was fast for my Lenovo YOGA 7 series 2-1.

    Had to buy a new desktop computer, and my Microsoft office couldn't be transferred from the old one. I still had the disk, but the product key would not work. We were used to Outlook for mail, so I planned to buy Home and Office. I was told at Best Buy that it probably wouldn't work since I didn't have a business IP address. I decided to go for Home and Student. It has everything I need except Outlook. It will be permanly on my computer-won't need to renew each year. I guess I'll get used to the Micrsoft mail program.

    I upgraded from 2005 to 2024. There is additional functionality, mostly stuff I'll never use. The speed to load a spreadsheet or document takes about 4-7 seconds, the 2005 version loaded almost instantly. The steps it takes to "Save As" a spreadsheet is three compared to one in the 2005 version.
