    Had Windows 7 on my 12-year-old laptop. This new Windows 11 version is fine. I liked the old Word and Xcel better though.

    It fits my needs. I previously had a copy of microsoft office pro that I purchased from work. When I got a new PC I lost that license. I only needed Microsoft Word and Excel and this does the job. I prefer to purchase the license than pay to lease it.

    Disappointing that Microsoft has now moved on to a subscription-based format. My last version of this software lasted more than 14 years, and was still working fine. (OK - I don't use most of the advanced features), but it was time for an upgrade, so I paid the one time cost. Not sure why Outlook isn't included, as this is easy to download and use as well.
