Microsoft Home and Student Software

I just have to get use to the OneDrive option for storage. This option which I understand from a member of the TotalTech team, that it allows you to store it in the cloud.

Will NOT work, on my new IPAD.

I purchased MS Office Home 2024 with this understanding. In fact I was swayed to get the IPAD with my understanding that this would work on it. Well I just wasted a whole lot of money. Even Microsoft says that this will only work of a PC or MAC. I will try to return this.

I prefer to use this program over the Office 365 as there is no subscription fee. In the long run, I save money as I don't buy new technology unless I absolutely need it.

Office Student install

They wouldn't send a code via text. It is almost installed but it can't be used so I need to make an appointment and have one of the geek squad install it for me. Not happy about that.

We will see if I ultimately am satisfied with the alleged upgrade. So far, it has been a mixed bag. Some things are nice (a few of the added functions), and some things have been buggy (I have had some real troubles with the new Solver interacting with Trust Center).
