The primary reason I purchased this version of MS Home Office is because there is no annual subscription requirement. The MS Office suite is essential for anyone who performs basic word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets. Overall, the function and simplicity make it very user-friendly.

What else can be said other than Office is Office. Bought this to replace Office 2010. Let me tell you, a decade of quality of life improvements really adds up. Especially the new dark mode. The are two downsides I see this this. One is the fact that the product key is now printed on the receipt (which fades, crumples, or gets lost easily) instead of the card, which is purely an annoyance for when you might need to reinstall or exchange the license to another PC for whatever happens. (An edge case, but it does happen). The other downside is I remember a time when Microsoft would sell Office as a group of three licenses as fairly standard, and this single license is definitely more expensive than it used to be (on a per license basis).

This works fine. However, I'm not crazy about Windows 11 overall.

I had to upgrade from 2010 version. I do nothing fancy any more since I retired but it works great. Only complaint I have is you can not enable autosave if you do not want to use cloud. I don't want to use the cloud so microsoft needs to be adjustable as older customers don't always want to share everything or want to be logged into microsoft all the time. My useage is not their business.

These programs are so easy to use, a little common sense and basic experience and these programs are ideal for home or office, couldn't get by without them.

Really needed this software. It is advanced, but easy to use. Some of the navigation will take some getting used to if you are coming from an older version of these Microsoft products.

I was tired of paying a ridiculously high monthly subscription and was glad I could still buy a licence for 1 copy of the software. My MS 360 subscription expired and after downloading, this picked right up. Plus I love not have personal docs in the cloud or locked/held ransome if my subscription runs out.

Our new I-mac forced us to upgrade the Office Suite that was over a decade old. This new version is definitely better and easier to use with many added features. I strongly recommend it. .

This is definitely the way to go for personal use of Word and Excel. None of the extra and no monthly or yearly payments. If I end up getting a different computer then I can simply remove my account from my current one and add it to the new one. Simple, cheaper, and effective.
