    Bought this for my wife’s computer. So far she thinks it’s going to work out for her needs. Of course there is a learning curve when you get something new that’s similar but different in some ways.

    Wanted the simple one time purchase version. Didn’t have them install power point either. Just needed Excel and Word. Don’t have to worry about yearly subscription costs.

    I first bought a (Surface Pro) laptop 15 years ago. This recent purchase to replace it is too "helpful" with too many options at various stages of developing manuscript.
