I went in to purchase a printer cartridge for my HP OfficeJet.

MS does not help you unless it’s something that they have on their problems that they have come across and dealt with. It is all on a link that they sent to you. You do not ever talk to anybody. You cannot talk to anybody. I would never buy another Microsoft product ever again. Best Buy even tried to get them to help us and they could not get to talk to anybody

well, I didn't realize until I bought this product and was activating with my email that already had 365 account previously and that allowed me to install word, excel PowerPoint outlook and others in 5 computer. So buying this was a mistake since I already had 365 account and didn't need this. I came to realize this only when I had bought this from bestbuy and was adding the product key to my email account. It surprised me. Unfortunately, this office home/sudent was of no use to me and bestbuy customer service was not ready to cancel this purchase and do a refund. That was a bad experience. Chat with customer service to resolve this issue was not a good experience either.

The product is fine, I just didn't need it. I already had a Microsoft 365 plan that I could use on my new computer, but I was talked into buying the Office Home and Student edition. The fault lies on my shoulders because I wasn't tech savvy or smart enough to realize I didn't need it. By the time I realized that what I thought I downloaded onto the computer was actually my existing 365 plan, it was too late to return the Home & Student edition. The woman in customer service told me since I wasn't a Best Buy + person there was nothing she could do. She then told me I could give it away to someone.

I purchased the office but I had to still pay a monthly fee to get e mail. I would not recommend this if you want e mail

Told Best Buy Employee and Dell Rep that we specifically needed Outlook, but didn't want hosted version. Well, Outlook is not included in this license, so had to go out and order Outlook from Microsoft. Problem though, they sell hosted/cloud version so Outlook history PST file can't be imported. So, total waste of money for both. Suggest buyer should go with web version provided by email host, and free Open Office ,if office suite is required.

It’s exactly what we needed to support our everyday needs.

If you end up not needing it, you can't return it even if you haven't yet activated it. Also, its not that straight forward transferring it from one device to another.

Didn't think I would be sitting here on a Friday night reviewing Microsoft Office Home and Student after spending the entire day using Office products on a Windows OS. It is what it is. Just get it; don't get the subscription. Who uses Publisher?

Other versions do not communicate properly with 2021 and Microsoft does not help to fix the issue even when you update all versions like they recommended.

Needed to benefit from computer. I do not know about any other software to handle these operation

Bought this Home/Student version for my notebook printer. However when I installed it ti copied all my files to the cloud as if I had installed 365 Office. Now have a problem getting files back to my computer and off the could. Do not recommend purchase unless you want your files on the Cloud.

when sending to other people or using same spreadsheet it doesn't do the same as others, so I'm guessing it's a different format on new or older versions, just terrible that it is that way.

I am unable to use it with a mouse. Before purchasing it, my mouse worked with the laptop that I purchased at Best Buy also.

Best Buy offers Microsoft Office Home and Office in a package with the Chromebook but these two items are not compatible. So basically the package deal is useless. Best Buy will not help you to correct this issue unless you want to pay another $180 for the Geek Squad. They hid behind the it is over the return date so I cannot get my money back even though I didn’t use the subscription. The online representatives were useless and I spent over an hour on the phone to get help only to get hung up on and the representative did not call me back even though the representative asked for my contact Information.

WD suite is not a stand alone and not formatted to be of use when this is your main go to for my work .
