Had to use the Geek Squad to resolve successfully. Probably user error but I still don't understand the hiccup. Frustrating to say the least. Bottom line: Lean on Geek Squad for software installations.

I had been using an EXTREMELY date version of Office (circa 2007) and was anxious to change, but had little choice after my old computer gave out. I am very happy that this version of Office is as user friendly as my last.

Exactly what I needed

That is exactly what this product promises and exactly what it delivers. I chose the Home and Student option because I'm not a fan of my entire life being on the cloud - pictures - yes, financial info - no. So I'm okay if Microsoft Offices "lives and dies" on my current laptop!
