Many do not realize that you can purchase basic Microsoft software without a yearly subscription. That can be a significant financial impact for some. Microsoft Office Home and Student is just what is needed for many.

I could turn it "on" but did not know how to turn it off. Finally resorted to ctlaltdelete and phoned my brother who sent to me a copy of "Windows 11 Quick Reference Guide". This should be included with the software!

Microsoft Office Home

Good bypass for Microsoft subscription

Even buying this product and installing it, the computer kept trying to get me to subscribe to 365 on top of it. It installed easy, but it didn’t appear that way due to the Fact that it kept prompting you to subscribe. I finally just tried it and found out that it worked. As far as the pricing Best Buy normally has this on sale but did not have it on sale at the time I bought it and then they put it on sale again. A little frustrating nonetheless.

I gave it 5 stars because I like the program and ease of use, but really could be 4 because of the lack of fonts that don't come with the purchased program. If you want all the fonts, you have to pay the monthly fee. I also don't like the program saving everything to the cloud when I want to save it to the computer instead. Also, after I bought the program, I found it at a cheaper price elsewhere.
