Microsoft office is a very useful program to have as it encompasses various utilities like Word and Excel

This software is great and has everything I need to do to write reports, do data analysis or prepare presentations. I like that it is updated and doesn't require a subscription.

If you live in an area, as I do, where internet connection is spotty, you will know the dire necessity of getting software that does not chain you to the internet. The day I switched was the day I lost 2 hours of valuable work because my internet went down and I did not know this until I finished and tried to save the completed file - VANISHED. The monthly subscription fashion is not always the best for us customers. I will have to say that I appreciate Microsoft's kindness in providing an Office product that does not require a monthly payment plan or continual internet connection. There must be thousands of users of Office throughout the world that also need this approach, and it saves my valuable time and creativity so I can work without fear of losing files that cannot be recreated easily.

My purchase of Microsoft Office home was well worth the price. I can see the many new features in Word that I had not ever seen in past years.
