    When we worked for the US Government, we could get Microsoft Office for free. Now that we are retired, that option is no longer available. So this is a great purchase for a single use computer.

    Microsoft Office Home is definitely worth the buy. I use word a lot for work purposes and it does everything I need and more. There are other similar products out there but Microsoft word/office is the best you can get .
