If you're using Office, this is great. I have Carbonite, so don't need storage that comes with 365. So this is just fine - and i'm an Outlook kind of guy, so happy to have it back - this version has some good looks!

It really pains me to have to but a subscription for an item that you used to just but And use until an upgrade or newer version came out

You cant go wrong with Office. The only con I have is that it, like most software these days, doesn't come on a cd anymore. Living rurally and having had limited download ability,software like this uses up a fair amount of my monthly allowance.

I have multiple computers and all of them have Microsoft Home and Business. The newest computer has the 2016 version on it. Again, I have found it to be the most versatile product to build presentations, write papers and work with data.

I bought this Office program to get out of a renewal fee every year since the only benefit was "updates" that were not necessary or needed. This program provides me with all the operations I had and use daily.

I upgraded to a new computer and it was time to upgrade. Only thing is Outlook. I don't need it anymore as all email is coming via yahoo and gmail; however, I brought over the old emails and my monthly task reminders.

So many changes from my previous 2010 version creates lots of learning challenges. Outlook is a complete overhaul and I still cannot get calendars and contacts to sync at all to my iPhone 6S. Worked fine before the upgrade.

If you buy this you own it, not like Office 365 that you have to pay for over and over. Looks more modern that Office 2010, but unlike previous versions does not come with MSOffice Picture Manager which is why I only give it 4 stars.

Have always enjoyed Office. Outlook is not as easy to use. Sorting emails a little difficult - or I have not figured it out yet. I miss my old Outlook. Word and Excel are great. I have not used the other programs yet - too new to review.

Let me put it this way, if you've ever used a PC for work purposes in your life, you'll understand the importance of Microsoft office... A PC without Microsoft office is nothing more than a sexbox... Jus sayin... Peace!!!

I can't live without Outlook email and Excel spreadsheets! They are the best. It's what I use at work so why fool around with cheap copies at home. The price is expensive but I guess you get what you pay for.

I had downloaded Windows 10 but was still using the same Office that I had been using with Windows 7 and I was having problems. I had Geek Squad put the new office on my computer and it solved most of my problems.

What can I say, it is the old standard Microsoft Office. There is no review I can leave about Office that a professional magazine hasn't already said. In the box, you get an installation code that works just fine.

owning your own copy vs subscription is of utmost importance. one bank error and a missed payment and your access (including the I clod storage you pay for under the subscription) are in jeopardy.

My husband purchased this. He is well versed in using it. Has used it for years with work. He is having trouble getting it to set up with an yahoo email. Don't really understand what the problem is.

365 subscrptions refuse to operate if wifi burps or dies. This installs Office (like the previous versions) on your PC without reliance of wifi, and greatly reduce the data MS pulls from the 365 version.

I purchased as a one-time download rather than do Office 365 monthly. I think the savings will be appreciable. My only disappointment is that Microsoft doesn't allow an option to purchase a license for multiple pc's.

I knew what I wanted when I went in. The store info person was helpful and showed me where I needed to go. I picked out the product. I paid the cashier, who was very thorough, and am using the product now.
