I bought (not leased) this software package specifically for Microsoft's Outlook. I needed to install email software on a new computer which replaced a failed PC (hard drive crash). I have had previous success with Outlook but was required to purchase MS Office 365 if I wanted Outlook on my new computer. $1000 dollars of additional IT support and Outlook is still not running dependably and consistently. I have instead migrated to Mozilla's free Thunderbird email software which works without any problems. All other applications that came with MS Office 365 work just fine.

Not convinced Office 2016 is any better than Office 2010. I cannot use the Address Book, however this may be do to poor job from Geek Squad in transferring data from old laptop.

I was perfectly happy with the prior versions of MS-OFFICE but purchased OFFICE 2016 only because I was concerned about this possibly being the last "permanent" license version of OFFICE as Microsoft is pushing towards the annual subscription license even for home users. My experience with the installation was problematic and required help from the Microsoft support team, this is a FIRST compared to all the other prior MS-Office licenses I have installed very smoothly. My other gripe, is that when you download files for the installation, you get the impression that you can save the download as a backup in the event of a disk crash, reload, or move, but that is not the case. This was particularly annoying because Office 2016 needed to be reloaded again within the first week of first installation, again requiring the assistance of Microsoft support staff. My compliments to the Microsoft support staff for having to deal with this process patiently probably with multiple customers. Makes me wonder if this painful and inconvenient deviation from past licensing procedures is just to get customers including both corporate and home users to move to a more profitable annual license structure. All of the above may have been forgiven if it was not for the fact that Office-2016 loads significantly slower than all the previous versions which is also evident from the many postings on the web confirming the same complaint. If you are happy with your current version of Office, I would not recommend "upgrading" to 2016.

This far better than renting software, but it is still a bit expensive. It works okay, but the only reason that I use it is to be compatible with the software that I use at work.

Had to purchase this twice. First card had illegible product code. Rather than customer support, Microsoft required that we repurchace and they provide a credit in 6-8 weeks.

Its MS Office. I absolutely did notice the CRM features Microsoft has taken out of Outlook over the past few years, making a much less useful tool than it once was.

Was told by best buy supervisor that the upgrade from student version was necessary to recover emails on new computer. Cost an extra $100.00 and still didn't work.

It's fine. Works like all MS products, some things are not functional some are. That's how it goes. If you use a PC, you're kind of stuck with MS products.

I need Outlook, not ready for 365, dislike big price jump to stay in compliance with licensing and have Outlook.

My only issues are I would like a CD so I can rebuild even if I don't have internet. As long as you have an active connection you're good.

I returned the product. It was received back by Bestbuy on Feb 12 and I still haven't got my refund back. I would like my refund.

Office 2016 does not require an annual fee like Office 365. It is still expensive but less tahn 365 in the long run.

Chose because Outlook is too pricey as a stand alone. Changes in Word. and Excel do not improve the product very much.

Sorry I was forced to buy this version of office for work. Too expensive. Don't know what extra value it brought me.

I really haven't had a chance to use it. I looked through it and it seems to be better then most for the money.

Not a fan of how all my documents went to the one drive so they could try and get me to buy more cloud space

Any one who does any reports or makes any kind of letterhead should have office and it's always good to have the latest version. This one doesn't seem a lot diffent from the last one, so I don't think it should be a big change to anyone who is upgrading. If you haven't used it before, you will love it!!

This was loaded twice incorrectly on my computer. A very big hassle.

Bought so that I didn't have to deal with the temporary software that came with Dell computer.

There is a newer version out there but this version still gets the job done.
