There is "A RAT' in Separate!

MS withholds Outloook from Office Suite but you cannot purchase OUTLOOK as stand alone. To include Outlook in your purchase you must pay additionally; on this occasion is approx.$80. Why separate out specifically Outlook from Office? Why not Word or PowerPoint or One Note or Excel? I use Outlook Everyday, not so the other apps in the suite. Rhetorically speaking, the way to spell the word 'separate' properly is to use the easy to remember, "there is "A RAT' in Separate.

This is an easy way to make letters and financial spreadsheets. I use the Word and Excel at least once a week. I have this on both my home PC and my new travel laptop.

This is a must for all high school students to survice. Schools continue to expect similar standards as colleges, expecting assignments to by typed. Also multiple assignments requiring powerpoint and excel work.

I love both word and power point. I don't really use excel much but all 3 are the industry leaders for good reason. I really couldn't function in my work without Word.

It is a must have if you need Office for both home and business which I do. Ease of use and the price for the full package is reasonable. I am no longer in the Big Business world so I do not need to use all of it's capabilities but if I was, as I maneuver and test it through certain tasks this would be the program I would use.

Can't get by without this program. It covers everything and is so easy to use. PowerPoint and excel run smoothly. Every computer needs this type of assistant especially if you are a student or running a business.

I have used Excel and word for many years. I like the new versions and will recommend it to my friends. My only disappointment is that for $140.00 dollars, I can only put it on one computer. I am also disappointed that new computers no longer come with it already loaded. The extra expense is difficult on the finances.

I've used versions of Word since it came out in the 70's and gave up my tyoewriter then, so Word is a must have. I love the spreadsheet and data base for my personal use. The whole package is a requirement and is very easy to use. I have it on every computer I use and keep looking for a substitute wp on my android tablet.

While I originally bought this for a Mac, I discovered that you cannot use it for one. The salesman told me that you could. I returned it for the university one which worked way better for me! But Microsoft office is an absolute so it is a great product!

It's what I grew up on in the office and now I don't have to learn something new for my home computer. When you are use to using certain spreadsheets and word documents at work then have to learn something different for home computer use it stinks! With Office Home & Student 2013 I have no transitional learning, Love it

I didn't want to deal with an annual subscription, so I purchased this version. If you are doing fairly simple word processing or Excel work and don't need the extras that come with the subscription this is fine. It's nice to be able to open two instances of Excel in 2013, which was not available in part versions.

There isn't much to say about this except that it is pretty much required software for a lot of college purposes. It works really well compared to previous editions of Office in years past; you just need to take tutorials or train yourself to know how to get the most out of the product, as with any useful tool.

    Office has changed!

I bought this software because most laptops don't offer Office anymore. I found that I needed something that would take care of my processing needs. I am family with most office products, I need excel and word for my work and this came in handy. I didn't know that there was a change when office 365 came out. I would have just gotten the 365 rather than office 2013. Nonetheless it does what I need it to do and I am happy with the purchase. My only annoyance is that the sales rep didn't tell me in advance that the laptop that I purchased the same day also had 1 year of Office 365. That did upset me because I could have purchase another item instead like covers and protecters for my products.

Microsoft's changing licensing models caused me to purchase this product before it was no longer available. After entering the license code everything worked as expected, but I do have some worries about support in the future when I need to re-install office. By that time office may run solely from the cloud.

I love word, so no issue here. the installation was awful. There is a security number on the product package which tore when we tried to open the package. You need this code to download office from the internet. We got another one from Best Buy. We wasted our time going back to the store, wait on customer service line. No issue with getting another packet. When we got home we followed the directions and could not load office from the internet. We finally had to call Microsoft. We gave them access to the computer and after 2 hours it was loaded. There should have been an easier way. Best buy should have offered to load office for free as a service when we bought the computer. Saves possible hassles and bad reviews like this one.

If you use programs often enough this would be a good purchase. I use office word and excel often. These are updated programs from my previous windows version. Still works and has compatibility mode.

Despite the fact that it took about a month and the help of numerous Geek Squad agents to enable me to use it, this software has now helped me to organize my home life. Turns out it 's easy to use and consequently, not time-consuming.

Everything went well with my purchase, expect that since I had an "old" Office, I used Outlook. This did not come with it and it has caused me some problems. However if you don't need Outlook, this is great, especially for home use.

On our other computer, we went the "cheap" route and used Open Office. This program was not expensive and goes with all programs that the kids use at school, and they were already familiar with it. It also takes any form printed in Open Office and formats it so it can be read/edited. Very helpful.
