I recently upgraded from the Mac 2008 version of Microsoft Office, so it's taking me a while to adjust, but the basic functions are all there with added features which are nice.

MS Home Office and Student 2013 is well worth using. Essential features provide novice and expert alike a platform to perform necessary tasks in today's computer environment. Easy to understand, adapt and use out of the box. Could not envision working on and off-line without this valuable tool.

I'm not too happy it looks like all Microsoft products are internet downloads and there are no CD's. It is a pain and slow to download. I expect CD's when I pay this much money. I haven't really used Word except to print a document. But, it looks like Microsoft is following the old rule that they change things that don't need to be changed just to be "new". I have to use the products more before I have a more informative opinion.

I love the fact that this edition of office does not need to be renewed. It is easier to work from home and save it and take it to work and continue working on a different PC. Before I had Microsoft works and it was no compatible with the excel that I use at work. Great investment for me.

Now a days computers require updated software, and even though my new purchase of computer required the software, I can not complain. This software offers all one needs to get the job done and present your projects on time.

I like this product but it do not automatically open older versions of files. Kept having to open excel first then the file. Had to go into some settings to get that fixed. Would have thought it would have been automatic.

Office Home & Office makes working and staying organized easy. I use it for both personal and business purposes. The only drawback is that it does not contain Outlook which is available on the professional version. In hindsight, I would have spent the extra money for the full version.

Find it necessary to have Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote on my laptop to accomplish most communicating tasks in this digital age.

I am on this all the time. I use it for my husbands business and for my kids school projects. I am always making charts and graphs for one thing or another. Not to mention the calendar my entire life is on there if I lost that I would be lost forever. This is a must have product.

I am still trying to understand how office 360 is a better buy than single license user for microsoft office. This product is simple and quick to install. I had to buy the basic needs for my Surface Pro. This works great!

Was tired of my son always on my computer because he needed to use the office home and student software that was installed on my computer.He needed to use the software to complete his homework for school. So I purchased the software for my sons computer and we are both happy now.

Love the newest versions of Excel and Word. Was a little pricy though, but saved $20 or so since we each purchased one for our laptops.

This program is making school simpler I have not taken the time to learn Office until now, The Student edition provided me with a opportunity to examine Office and I find it is more user friendly, I can recommend if you are a student the price is reasonable give it a try.

Overall, the selection of Office should be a no brainer for anyone buying a laptop. The office home and student contains the necessary apps, like word, excel, powerpoint.. The only thing is Outlook is a separate purchase

I was a little nervous about upgrading to something new from my Office 2007, but over all, it's close enough that I haven't had any trouble learning some of the new features. As long as I can work with Word, I'm good. I think Office 2013 is a good product and I would recommend it.

There are a number of new features that make Word and Excel more flexible. I like the index or outline that goes with a text and makes it easier to find one's place when it is given an instruction to do so. I also like the way it finds whatever you ask it to in the text.

It's office it works as expected, has excel, powerpoint, and word. Already use it to write a few papers without any problems.

I really like this product because it has all the products I need as a college student. It comes with word, publisher, power point presentation, excel, one note, and outlook.

had a problem at first with installing, would not take my code. called the support team and was told that it was a problem on their end. took two days to get it installed. once installed the features are great

I was used to using the older Home version at home as well as the professional version at work. Got the new home version as I did not like the free versions, suchas Open Office. Like the new one very much.
