Software was purchased for my 9 year old daughter so she can use for school. She has been using it not only for school, but also to write stories on her own.

Since most computers only come with a trial version of Windows, this is a must for and family or student. It only took 5 min to install and it was up and running.

We were able to get the MS products we needed at a fair price (as fair as MS ever is). We specifically wanted Word, but some other products that came with it are useful as well. This will be perfect for college.

So far, so good. This is similar enough to the old version that switching over is easy. Good prompts for commands and great options for formatting documents

Too time consuming to load. Preferred the old method with an actual disk. Had several issues with loading it, and retrieving online login. Then, compatibility with our restaurant work software, was a issue, mind you we had ran the previous one just fine. Took a few weeks with company to get computer tech to get it working on our new system. So far so glood as of now, but was very time consuming and had to go through multiple channels to correct issues.

I was a Lotus user for spreadsheets. Just switching everything over. Programs are very similar. Easy to transfer from Lotus to Excel. Still learning commands.

I thought I needed office for the computer so kids could use it for school and I could use some for work. I wonder if I could have checked out google docs a little more to see if I could have saved money.

The price of $150 was high but I believe you get what you pay for so this product will be worth every penny of it as it is a "must have" for my writing needs.

Of course just when you have the programs mastered you get anew computer and updated software so you have to get used to the upgrades. But windows office is easy to use especially for beginners like our son.

I have found Office to be the best bargain -- provides all the capabilities that I need. I like the Excel spreadsheet as it is easy to use and I really like all the Power Point clip art and drawing capabilities.

My previous computer purchases had word and other programs already installed. I wasn't told that wouldn't be the case when I recently upgraded to a new computer. Then I had to buy the programs I needed, and then when I couldn't get them installed, I had to purchase extra network security, and then pay on top of that to have the software installed. Add to that that the company that did the install keeps calling me and asking to sell me more stuff. What a royal pain.

It's been since 2007 since I upgraded office and I love all the improvements. I wish I could put it on more than one PC without paying a yearly subscription.

I'm not new to Microsoft Office. I do like it a lot; therefore I bought the 2013 version for my new computer. The kids use it for school, and I use it also. Once you start using it, it's hard to be without.

I have not had enough time to fully use the system. It is always a pain to learn something new when you did not want the change. But with a new system came a new software. I am sure MS thinks upgrades are necessary but I have not reached the full potential of any MS product and would be happy to have a simple version that did not change for 10 years. The bottom line is I just go used to my 2007 version and now I forced to learn a new format simply because MS want to play with formats. Us non IT types have better things to do than spend hours learning new software.
