This product includes all the basic applications that the novice user needs and then a few extra. It was fairly easy to install but is a little difficult to figure out how to use with Windows 8.

I have used other versions of window office and this has the same quality and ease of use that I am used to working with. Have not used all the new features yet, but will be trying them in the future

I use my computer for home use. Have used Word for years. With the purchase of a new laptop I updated to Office. Similiar product with improvements.

Everyone is familiar with office. We got this for our new computer. It was easy to install because all we had to do was unlock it by buying the code.

This software is great for home users, I also use it for letters at Christmas and many more uses. I have already set up my Excel for balancing my check book. All great uses with this software.

THIS IS ALWAYS IS MUST FOR ANY COMPUTER/LAPTOP/PHONE/ETC. WISH IT DIDN'T COST SO MUCH, ALTHOUGH YOU GET A TWENTY BUCK BREAK WHEN PURCHASING A LAPTOP OR COMPUTER AT THE SAME TIME. THAT WAS KINDA COOL!

I think this Windows package is great for home use. It has word, excel, power-point and One-note. This will meet most home applications. The price is right and the program was easy to install.

Great to have the up to date software but I am still old fashioned whereas I believe it should be a part of the computer price-not in addition to.

Apparently "changed" just to mate with current operating systems -- which likewise had no need of changes unless you have touch screen technology -- MS Office is still the standard productivity suite against which others are measured. Everything is 'okay,' with no significant changes for non-touch screen users. If you need to keep up with Win8-8.1, keep up with those submitting documents in the non-backward compatible new formats, or you just get a new operating system, the new MS Office still covers the bases with mercifully few changes for users.

I picked up office because I am returning to graduate school this fall and needed a word processor. The set up with simple and relatively quick. Not much more to say other then it works as intended.

the product is excellent, all family need have this in each computer. it will nice that I will install the program in my laptop an my desktop.

i like this product.It did seem to be over priced and have a short time frame to be able to use it. But if you oonly plan on being in school for a little while then it will be great just fro you

This was easy to install and a cinch to use. Since we're not great with technology at our house, we found that this item was perfect for us.

Microsoft Office is essential for anyone that needs to do any significant word processing or spreadsheet work. The Home and Student edition gives you what you normally need at a decent price.

Microsoft Office has come a long way! Much more modern. Upgraded with my new computer. What a difference. Easy to use and collaborate with others.

Spend the extra money for the 1x install verses the annual fee. No worries and extra work a year from now. Having office on home PC is essential for a LOT of work I o from home. I love it.

This is the first time I am using office 2013 and still getting used to it.. I did see lot of additional features which I will explore while working on my next presentation or create a spreadsheet.

Worked perfectly! Bought Nero first and was very disappointed. I would recommend this to anyone that asked me. The price seemed a little high at first but after seeing the options it was worth it.

It didn't frustrate me when jumping right in which is a big win in my book when it comes to Microsoft. I like seeing the edit bar minimized when I don't need it which means I get more real estate.
