Must Have

Much prefer this to the microsoft 365 which you have to pay for every year. I do not care for cloud storage, especially with the increase of hacking. Like keeping things simple and basic and definitely like not having to pay for the software every year. Pay once and it's yours for the life of the computer it's installed on........

The one I bought was for use on just a single PC. There is another package that can be used on multiple PCs. There is also a package that is a one-year subscription with automatic updates. Of course, they all have different prices and update options.

MS Office 2013
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think the price at Best Buy for MS Office 2013 Home and Student was a good value for the money. This version of Office is a bit different if you previously had Office 2010, the toolbar on Word is a bit tricky but eases as you get used to it. Activation is online and it helps to have a Microsoft account in this case. Otherwise, it's an overall great product from Microsoft!

Basic Word program is OK.

Don't like that I have to click more once to get to my documents, photos, etc. Wastes a lot of time. Outlook calendar is useless and disappointing... can't print it and if I'm not at the computer when a reminder comes up, it disappears so it's no help at all. Would still recommend.
