    I WAS A USER OF MICROSOFT WORKS FOR YEARS AND FOUND IT TO BE GREAT FOR MY LIMITED USAGE. IF ANYTHING, I WOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE EXTENSIVE OPTIONS, MOST OF WHICH I WILL NEVER USE. I AM SURE IT WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS TO HAVE THESE ELEMENTS BUT FOR MY PURPOSES, IT IS A LITTLE BURDENSOME.

    I'm still using Windows Vista, so still love this product. I personally cannot live without my Microsoft Office. Between work and school projects it's the most user friendly & versatile software I've found. I do wish you didn't have to purchase a new computer to get the sale price though.

    overall it is a good product. dictionary, spell check, and thesaurus are great to have on the same page as my text. some aspects are not so easy such as page numbering with a header, it doesn't work as the prompts indicate. other than that, I would recommend it to friends and colleagues.

    Coming from only having "read only" versions of Word, Excel and Powerpoint, on our old laptop, it is GREAT having full versions of these and the latest and greatest versions to boot! It really is nice and great for the kids on school projects and such. In the past I'd have to trot out my work laptop and that was a pain. Now they can do it all on their own!
