Functional version of office, but prefer 2010

I've used office 2010 on my work computer for several years and have learned to prefer that version over the "old school" version due to the ability to customize the menu and toolbars. This version is similar in that aspect, but in Microsoft's never ending quest to try to wow everyone, they've overdone it. I haven't used it a lot so far, but I'm already annoyed by the flash type overload. For example, when you move from cell to cell in Excel, the cell contents kind of "snap" into view . . . It's hard to explain, but its completely unnecessary, distracting, and a waste of processing speed and RAM. Functionality wise, this version seems fine, I think they just failed on the details.

Awesome program and so user friendly

So many uses with this program I learn something new each time I open it. So glad I did the update. Being a senior citizen I needed a user friendly program and this one is perfect for me.

still trying to learn basics

Time and use will make it better. The tutorial helps but does not cover all my needs. The help suggests tutorials. I had to search outside the program to get info.

Good program
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We are re-learning the program almost from scratch since there have been updates to it and our computer now uses a different version of Windows. So far we like what we have used with the office package. It is nice to have on the computer but I miss the days when this type program was installed on the computer automatically before being sold.
