Good value, the only mark down is in ease of installation. If you bought the 2013 many months after roll out, the updates could take several hours to down load depending on the speed of your internet setup.

The home office suite is a necessity. Problems come from windows 8. In the past the purchase allowed us to install on other family computers, not any more

They keep on making office better, but then again they have too because open office and such have gotten so much better and those are free. Now if only Microsoft didn't charge so much for a new version that only offers a couple of new features over the last release

It is unfortunate that students need this and it is so expensive. What choice is there? I wouldn't buy it if it was not needed by both my boys for school.

Office Suite is a must in today's academic world. I needed the program to finish high school classes and move on to college. Will be a great product to have on my computer and integrate well with everything.

This package includes Word, Excel, Power Point and One Note, which is all I really needed. I think this is a better value than the Office 365 option which requires an annual license fee. This product you pay one fee and it is yours (for one computer only).

I bought the version I can use from my hard drive not 365. Nevertheless it seems it tries to link online. It slows down other apps when it's running. I like the ability to use more of the display space and having lots of choices in that respect. I don't like that it was designed for touchscreens when not all computers have them so that slows down by having to click through them. Can't streamline as much as I want to: No need to save to cloud but that is always put in my face and I have to choose around it. The ways it has more choices are good, the ways they took away choices are not.

I don't do a lot of work using Office, but what I have done has been OK. There is so much offered that I seem to spend too much time figuring out what and where are the features I need and use the most.

Still learning how to use Office 2013. I have an older program on my other computer, so I am still learning it, but I like it and don't have too much trouble making the switch over to the touch screen.

Having Office is a must now a days. It frustrates me that buying it only gives permission to install it on one computer. I refuse to buy one for each computer.

This is a basic suite of Office programs. it's not too big (with a bunch of stuff I won't use) or too small (just one program). Since I bought this just for my home computer, it was exactly what I needed.

Microsoft no longer allows you to purchase this for more than one user so you have to buy separate programs for each computer even though they offer similar products but only with a yearly "rental" fee.

Its Microsoft office. A must for any business to meet productivity demands. This package is only a key to a downloadable file from Microsoft. I know its the way its done now, but I miss the old days when you actually got a installation disc with the key...

The home and student version suits me fine as a self employed person. Compare the list of programs between this edition with the fuller office edition. You may not need the additional programs of the fuller version. I did not, and thus saved me money.

The mix with window 8 make Office no so functional as before. Learn the new tools and functionality has made my work on the computer slower. No time t to learn new features when you buy a new computer

Necessary evil here. I think 365 is a scam. Paid for the full version instead. Best buys activation system that links with Microsoft was screwed up for 1.5 weeks. But it finally worked out so...

like the program but had a little problem down loading the installation by using my phone as a hot spot and I don't understand why nothing comes installed on my computer except a few basics programs

I have been using Microsoft Office programs for years, & would not be able to conduct business without them. I am always grateful that new versions are familiar enough that us "old" users can get up to speed fairly quickly, without too much fuss & bother.

The download process is simple. It explains how to do everything. The program itself is easy to use. Well worth the investment. Glad I purchased it.
