Not bad at all, still trying to get used to it since I had the 2010 version of this product. But the transition is easy and the intro that the beginning of the installation made it even easier.

installation was not an easy process......don't want my info "in the cloud" and took a long time to install......also dont like that the product is only good for 1 year, instead of the life of the computer. unlike, previous versions of ms office

I like having more paste features by right clicking but the screen has become too white for my taste. Also it is harder to get to some features that it was before - like save and print

When I was having trouble with the computer, HP asked me to uninstall Office. When I went to reinstall it, I was unable to do so. I contacted Geek Squad this evening and they reinstalled it for me tonight. I think I will like it just fine.

I bought two of these since the programs did not come with the two laptops I bought for my grandchildren for school. Word, Excel and Power Point are pretty much necessary for much of the school work kids do today and in the future work environment.

A must have for any student or teacher; you can make almost anything (posters, banners etc.) in excel with a little practice! We dont use One Note EVER so cant be really helpful on that part.

I like the fact that it has a variety of uses, formats etc. I use it for online applications for jobs. I dont know why Microsoft left the office part out of Windows 8.1, but this system is probably better anyway, even if we had to pay for it.

Microsoft Office has long since been the must have in any office/home office. I do like the upgraded versions, however there are so many new functions, it takes a while to learn how to find them in the program and use them. But I love the programs!

Office home and student is a great bundle with the programs needed for school work. Good price for bundle but had some trouble loading onto laptop but once it was loaded it has worked great!

I went this route, because it was a little cheaper. I miss the convenience of having the application of outlook installed on my computer for easier navigation and personalize setup.

Microsoft no longer bundles its Word for Windows or it's Office products with hardware. This is the only option left for those of us who don't want to pay an annual fee to Microsoft for use of their Word for Windows word processing software.

Getting use to the new version of windows and excel. Just as long as you know the basics of the programs the rest is fiddling around and finding where the rest of the features are located.

Other than the fact that this software used to be included with the purchase of a new computer and now has to be purchased separately at what I believe to be an unreasonable price, at least there are not many changes to the basic functionality.

the techs had a terrible time converting the data because Windows 8 is not very compatible with previous Microsoft programs so without this I could not have access to my email in Outlook

I use office home on a near daily basis. It's easy to use and to navigate around. My only wish is that the upgrade wasn't a yearly expense. I love that this is a one time purchase.

I bought this for my computer that had Vista. Unfortunately for me, it was incompatible. I had already scratched off the code and was unable to return it. Sigh! In the end, I bought a new computer and downloaded it into that. Very happy with it.

Use to be standard on computers but now it's an extra cost. You get 4 programs Word, Excel, One Note, and Power Point. I only need and will use Word and Excel but had to pay for it all.

Solid program that allows my to help with writing letters and doing accounting and balancing my check book. Allows easy use for a good price.

I am pleased with this product. My only complaint is that it is for one computer only. You must buy one Office for each computer you use, even your own laptop. Other than that, I like it.

After much hesitation, I decided to buy Office 2013 for my computer mostly to open attachments sent in word, and for the occasional document. Bought through Best Buy .com This came in the form of a cardboard product key with a code good for one use. Instructions take you to website for downloading. My problem was after the download it kept crashing. Forget trying to get any support from Microsoft. You won't find a phone number anywhere, and the chat feature was useless as no one was ever available. Link to leave phone number for a callback was a hoax. Finally I called local Best Buy and told them my dilemma. At first they said they could not help with any software purchase, but after explaining I had $100.00 piece of cardboard in my hand, they told me to bring in the computer so the Geek Squad could see if it could be loaded. It took 3 techs, each trying different solutions, before the last one remembered that a program on my computer Abby9.0 was not compatible with Office 2013. I had read something regarding Abby on the website (microsoft) but it didn't mention which version, or what to do to make it happen. And why would I delete a program I wasn't sure was necessary on my computer. He told me it was a program I didn't need (hope that remains the case) and uninstalled it and the word program and excel then worked properly. I would not recommend trying this download if you are not a techie, in the event you run into issues. Whatever happened to disc downloads. And why isn't word included to start with on new computers. I have to thank my local Best Buy Geek Squad as they got me up and running, and at no cost to me. Thanks, but what a hassle!!
