The Office Home and Student program is great for college students. The new layout from the 2010 version is more user-friendly, and Excel has more options for equations and graphing capabilities.

MS home & student is adequate, but missing some useful extras that MS wants you to pay more for like outlook.

Have used this program for several years and there are not too many options out there to replace it. Having said that, it's reliable and it works.

It took three tries and many hours by the Geek Squad to finally get it downloaded. The programs, W,X,P and N have been and are still excellent.

I bought this product and had to wait two weeks for it to work. I believe it was an issue with best buy sending in that I bought it in the first place.

I haven't had chance to check out the ne version of the Office 2013. I got this because the sale rep. recommend me to have for my new Window8 desktop.

The Microsoft office is an extra piece of software that is not included with purchase of computer. To have and office capiblities this must be bought.

Windows products products that you are already familiar with but they should have been included in the base Windows 8 package since Windows 8 is lame.

The only thing I do not like is that the program did not come with CD's for a backup. It comes on a card and you have to call or get on line for them to reset you up. I do not like this feature.

being a computer ileterate, it is hard to know what to do and what not to do. Much trial and error for me

I do not know if I have a bad one or it is a soft ware glitch but it will not install on my new computer

I love the new windows. I like the fact I can see two screens side by side. It is alittle to get use to for us still using vista. But I love it

MS Office Home and student version. Had to download and install it. I thought it was going to take a long time but it only took about 10 minutes.

Still the reliable word and excel. Not too much change from previous versions. I do wish they would include outlook in their suite. I miss outlook!

Great program, some positive updates and adjustments to the last version. Some things that weren't broken and didn't need fixing for some reason "got fixed." Oh well, still a great program.

It works for the purpose that I got it for but it's still little difficult to fully understand. It's similar to the previous program I've had.

After living with Windows XP and old versions of office....this is so updated. The help online is important to find functions that I took for granted how to do. Still adjusting but love it.

I am not used to the program or the Windows 8.1 operating system so I have a lot to learn. Ask me in 6 months. I believe it will work out fine.

Enjoy using the computer its quick and was able to have all my questions answered by the Geek Squad, they helped me with the initial instalation.

I liked the price of this compared to the others. I didn't want to continue to buy/renew the Office 365 each year and I don't have enough computers for it to be worth the price difference.
