Excel works as it has in the past. Word is faster.

Word and excel work great - wish outlook was included. I did use that alot.

I have worked for many hours trying to get it to download and no matter what I do It JUST WON"T . I am feeling upset. I saw on my facebook where many others are having the same problem.

Best Buy salesman didn't tell me or ask. No 'outlook'. Besides that, it stalled at 11% installing, all nite. MS gave me my money back, but what a hassle.

It is very strange that the program does not create an app and you have to go online to use. It is really annoying. I'd recommend buying on-line and not in the store and get an older program.

This product is fine for a student. The only drawback is that it doesn't allow use of the cloud. If we had known this before buying and installing it, we may have purchased the regular version.

Once I altered Windows 8 to my liking, we were set. However- there are way too many apps when you first download it. If a customer were able to customize it during install, THAT would be great.

As usual kind of trapped into purchasing since I use all the normal Office products for bot work and personal. Overpriced and lots of unused features, but really no choice to not purchase.

I am not very happy with the product. It is counter intuitive in some of the most standard functions. I am not that happy with the product.

Don't vwaste your money on upgrading unless you are required by your school or work. It looks/runs just like 2012 and 2007 just slower. Just another way for Microsoft to make more money!

My husband and I both don't really like the Windows 8. If you accidently set your hand to close to the mouse pad in under the key board it will switch screens on you and interupt the flow.

I think the new office for Windows is great for people that are regular users of the old program. With the new "tile" edition on windows 8 I can see it being really confusing for folks.

Dont like the fact I had to pay for office and turn aound and pay for a new desktop this should automatically be on all desktop

Office 2013 is a good version of the software. However it does seem to be more complex than the 2007 version I had before, so I would not recommend upgrading if you have that.

Windows Office has some nice features, but WORD is hard to navigate using Windows 8, which has so many glitches it just isn't worth it.

I haven't used it due anything major,as of yet, however I did have to get used to a new operating system. My question to Microsoft being, "why fix something that isn't broken...?"

If you have to you have too, office has changed, just like windows 8 they've changed things I just don't like, some things are better but why change something that is not broken?

We do not like the new Office or Windows. The old version was so much more user friendly. We hate how everything is like a touchscreen now, you look your position so easily and scrolling on pages is so difficult. It is more difficult to find your home position too. We also believe the software should not have to be purchased separately. Nothing comes as a package anymore and it is so difficult to download. Geek squad once again was not prepared for us to pick up our new computer or software. We had to come back a day later.

I haven't used this to much yet as I am having trouble with windows 8 and with transferring my programs from old computer then I will spend time using my new computer & software

This program has the same great microsoft dependability, but its kind of hard to navigate. I love the way the layout looks though
