Forced to purchase due to Microsoft discontinuing support for older versions. Takes time and effort for new product with minimal gains.

I had trouble downloading it. The customer service # couldn't help. Had to pay BB to do it and they started over with a new card and item #.

I don't understand what the secret is......why no basic instructions for navigating this new program....thank god I had the geek squad.....

Average software, just get it because we need for our kids and ourselves.

Harder to use, different from old Office, I don't like change or different way of looking. It will take me a while to get use to it.

Looks like a great program....I just need to read all the pages, tough for me because I am used to 'jumping in' and just knowing it all.

I had a real problem downloading the program on line. Once I did get it set up it's working OK. I would rather have a program on CD

Pretty good except for the picture editing in Microsoft Office 2003 was automatic and thorough.

I had a difficult time installing this and getting it up and running. Not user friendly.

Typical Microsoft office upgrade. Took a significant amount of time to get accustomed to new formats and to customize control panes.

Seems to be a lot more steps to do each thing than the older program and much that doesn't make sense I guess I've a long way to go

It took two trips, but I ended up with purchase I wanted. Could work out bugs of buying through merchant - but I was satisfied.

Office 2013 needs to be updated to accept Windows 8.1 more efficiently. Had to call the Geek Squad to install it on my computer.

Just purchased the Office Home and Student 2013 Windows software so haven't used this new version yet but have used prior versions.

Only had it for a few weeks. Some of the changes are good and help but a few bother me. E-mail is simplified but can be confusing.

Most people need excel and word and want it. Dell should give it to you for free but doesn't. I've purchase the Microsoft office before but only allowed to use it twice. So now I had to buy it again and its too expensive.

I was purchased my copy of Office Home & Student 2013 and couldn't wait to install it on my new laptop. When pealing off the plastic strip to reveal the Product Key code, two of the identification digits pealed off WITH the plastic strip! Upon returning the card to Best Buys I was disappointed in the staff's less than supportive response. They were snotty and inferred that I must have just not pealed the strip off correctly. After being served a heaping helping of disresect, I was begrudingly issued a replacement. Yesterday evening I opened the replacement card, pealed off the strip to have the same thing happen! At least just one of the characters was pealed off with the strip. I spent the better part of an hour guessing the missing letter of the alphabet to get the Product Key entered. Would suggest that others not buy this product through Best Buys but go through the Microsoft website to purchase Microsoft Office online.

Windows 1013 is difficult to install, looks flashy, with the flashiness getting in the way of functionality. Open office is the way to go.

This is similar to other Office products but the use in windows 8 seems to make it more challenging and cumbersome to get into.

Its not as easy to use as the older version. I dont care for format of the program
