Not user friendly, difficult moving from one area to another.

Had to buy the Microsoft Office Package with Outlook

I am still stuck in my old ways of not having to have a Microsoft account to use Office. However, with Windows 8, I really didn't have a choice in the matter. All the Office products work just as expected. One thing....... The loading time for the products is a little bit slower than previous versions of Office. Google Doc's are great, but sometimes Microsoft Office is all that can be used for some companies websites, so Office is a necessity.

Just bought this product last week. I paid $116 on, what I thought was, a great price match. I told the sales person that I had bought the same version for my Mac for $99 and I asked him to check for upcoming sales. He said that Office was not going on sale. The product is great for Home and Small Office documents. I know Best Buy will help me secure the lower price.

Wish Outlook was more affordable - would have bought that too. Does the job. I bought it straight up and not the annual plan that allows upgrades, so will assume backwards compatability as usual if a new office version does come out soon. happy with it so far,

Each new version of Office is better than the last. You can perform the same functions and more! Like anything new it takes a little getting used to, but it's very user friendly. The new version of Word gives you the opportunity to use many different templates, rather than just offering a blank page. Love it!

Works good, functional product, no issues. Would like to see the product come with some type of case though, or if Best Buy should consider displaying cases in the store next to them, like they do for the external hard drives.

The product works really well, but I had serious issues installing it--and it turns out that several other people have had the same issue. I ended up spending several hours working with Microsoft Help to get the issue fixed, which is mostly annoying because I was installing a brand new product onto a brand new computer with a brand new operating system. Doesn't seem like I should have run into any problems. The good news is that I got it installed at no extra cost and haven't had any issues since then. Word is VERY simple to use now. I love it.

im not one who likes change, but in the technology world, it's inevitable. This new Windows product is easy to use, and essential for home/school/work use. A bit of a learning curve, but overall nice changes from previous model.

Having Office Home for Windows on my new laptop is great. It allows me to work efficiently from home with all the tools I need. It gives me so much more than I would actually need, but allows me to remote in to my office computer and open the same excel and word products.

I personally use Microsoft office frequently for college assignments. So far I have been very happy with how smooth Office 2013 has run for me. I haven't had any issues, it has even adapted my older files to the newer software without causing major changes if any to them. I am especially pleased with Excel 2013 and how easy it is to customize graph and data plots. In conclusion Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are critical for any student or professional trying to create quality documents for any occasion.

This is a great gift for your student. Definitely a must for college students. But easy enough to use that elementary students can use this too. Makes every students homework easier

Microsoft Word and Excel worked as expected. I purchased this item instead of using Office 365 because I prefer to use a product that does not require a annual subscription.
