No big changes I can tell from the previous version of home and student. Couple more templates, a little more user friendly. I have mostly used Word and this is what I can tell so far (powerpoint and others haven't even opened yet). Great tool for writing papers, letters, resumes, etc.

You may think you will never need to write a letter or organize details into a spreadsheet. Maybe you won't. However, it is inevitable that at some point someone will send you an email with an attachment from Office that you will need to open. Save yourself the trouble and spend a bit more to get Office when you buy your computer.

I mainly use this for creating Word Documents and Excel Spreadsheets. Works great and have not had any issues.

It had the programs I want and need in a bundled package. Good buy.

Not sure why but it's sluggish, especially in Excel, on my older computer. It has 6 GB of RAM but is only dual core. Wish it didn't lag when I moved from cell to cell. Otherwise, it works fine. If you have 2007 or 2010, keep it. Those give you 3 and 2 licenses vs 2013 only giving 1 license.

These provide the best bang for your buck. It includes the standard Word, Excel, and Powerpoint that everyone needs. This product is only a card with a code on it that is used to download the software from Microsoft. No CD is included. Never had an issue online, always was quick and easy.

I love this product, its updated to the key needs of what I currently use at school. If I'm not mistaken it will update to the newer version whenever it comes out for free, so I don't have to pay to keep upgrading. Its great and very easy to use. No more long hours in the schools Tech Lab for me!!

Well being that I have never used any thing of this sort it did take some tine to figure out. Altho after some time and many You tube videos I was able to navagate easily. Excellent product. We did have issues installing this but Microsoft was very helpful and there every step of the way.

It's what should be expected from a web based program.

Coming off a very old version I needed a minute to learn where things are and how the files work, however it seems to all be commonsense as I am not a real big computer guy and just do reporting with this software.

The programs have a new look which I prefer to the older version. It seems to run well with Windows 8. Make sure to save yourself the headache and remove the MS trial installed on your computer if you bought one.

Wish I bought it sooner, usage is not as straight forward as past win95 version.

Can't go wrong with the basic Office programs. If you are not using this strictly for business it's enough to get by with. Can't beat the price when bundling it with a new computer. Easy to load and use.

I am used to one click for a new page for navigating with ease from document to document. The new aspects make this two or more tedious steps when I simply need a new document to work on. There is little to no memory of where the files are always kept on my system. Somehow it is just more time consuming than before. Plus I can't just find it without struggling with Windows 8 to find my Office files. No start button to easily locate and use. It is like a video game trying to capture my Windows 8 start screen just to fine my MS Word. Hit and miss, hit and miss until I finally lock my mouse onto the Windows 8 start screen that will let me access my MS Office once I find it on that Windows 8 start window. Why? Why? Why? Who thought this would be a good idea? And calling Best Buy for support? That was a joke, I couldn't even find an English speaker to help me pay my charge card account. They said sorry, you cannot pay today. Who does that? Plus the card started with a $59 fee before I purchased anything. AND nothing was recorded on my Rewards Zone....and that non-English speaking operator informed me..."NO" and re-routed me to automated nowhere land.

I am going back to school at 41 and I have used Microsoft office before and remembered all the formatting issues I had. To my surprise it has been the greatest to work with. It is very user friendly and I have much ease using the formatting options in word.

Its all digital now so you have to download it. That is the only thing I dont like about it. If you want a disc copy you have to request one from Microsoft for $15. Still same old office, no paper clip help still, and better looking still.

This product is great for everything you may need it for. Vast amounts of uses for Microsoft Office for almost any kind of projects. Would be great to have a help wizard for beginners to learn about other parts of Office in which beginners want to learn.

Great product and can not wait to see the next version of Office.

Not happy about the price but it was much needed because my online course required it. I've learned more about word, excel, & powerpoint!
