I have always had Office products. This particular version works great for our family and has what we need to complete school work, projects, etc. It was a good value.

With the upgrade in the memory for the computer, I needed to upgrade the office suite. Still not thrilled with the ribbon, but that is how it is.

I have been using Microsoft Word and Excel for years and years. It took be 20 minutes and the help menu just to find the "undo" button on an Excel spreadsheet the other day. Everything I open says it's in the wrong format and do I want to convert it? Then it throws a little warning in there for good measure saying the if I do convert I may loose some of my info. Well, I don't want to loose info so I say no to the conversion...EVERY TIME I OPEN ANYTHING! I realize that computer technology is an ever changing discipline but one should take into account the end users. If the technology changes faster than the consumers of that technology than what good is it? I don't want to have to be a "beginner" perpetually......

It's another Microsoft product, but with many changes. It takes some getting used to, but the help section is helpful.

This is exactly what I needed for my school work and I like the cheaper price.

It is too new of a program and my school is not set up for it as of yet. I wish I could have purchased Office 2010 so I could use my new laptop for my school work.

To install this item, instructions state to scratch off tape on back and inter numbers to down load to computwer, but 5 out of 25 of the numbers come with the tape, making it un able to install in laptop. I talked to best buy in Stillwater Ok and was told that there is nothing that can be done but to buy another Office Home & Student 2013 program. that will put me out an extra $139.00 more.

a lot of information to learn but am sure that when i need the challenges it will be thre for me to use

it is okay and useful and I would recommend it to someone else.

The Office software works well, and was easy to install. I still prefer having a disk to keep and store in case I need to do a re-install.

It automatically converted pre-existing files. Easy to use.

My 14 yera old daughter has utilized the mircrosoft package for many of her school projects and we have used it for home use as well.

used to come on computers ..and did it all now have to buy most expensive to get everything

Word document and PowerPoint are a must for me and i love it, especially since it allows me to use a pen on it. Amazing!!!!!!!

I went to purchase this item in the store and they only had product keys and due to the fact I live in the very far out country and have unreliable internet for download I wanted a disc copy. I went to the website and in the description there is no mention of it being a disc copy or a product key so I asked on the Best Buy Chat application and was assured it was a physical copy. What arrived in the mail today was a product key. Upon further review If i had zoomed in the picture of the product I would have seen in very small print that it was not a physical copy. God forbid it should be in the written description of the product. I guess now I get to look forward to the day long process of downloading a 4GB file.

must have for a high school student. college level probably need a better one

Office is a classic and there's a reason for that - it works well.

Very easy to install. Has a slightly different appearance than previous versions but will be able to get used to.

The software I was used to from my old computer, the 2013 version is great to send files back and forth to work.

I had to buy a new laptop and the Microsoft software too. I was glad I could get it for such a great price!
