Lacks some features of older version
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This version does giver you Word & Excel but a stripped down version of Outlook for Email. If you are use to the Full version of outlook with the calendar working together etc you might be disappointed in this new stripped down version. The alterative was go up to the next step at a higher cost or basically RENT the program for an ANNUAL FEE. The transition to Windows 8 is confusing enough and was disappointed to find out that Windows 8 does not Support POP 3 Email so you have to use workarounds to even use the Email portion of Outlook, it can be done but requires some extra setup and then the emails do not show up in the EMAIL TILE on the New Windows 8 Desktop you have to open Windows Explorer the click on the OUTLOOK tab within Explorer.

There are some very good improvements, but for the most part the older version suited my needs better. Hope I never have to upgrade again, as they will probably goof up something else.
