Decent software programs I need office power point word good for presentations and reports

the software is functional and easy to use. It has new features that make it more useful than previous editions. The money charged for it is however too outrageous especially when it should have been a standard feature on all new computers. paying separately for it is not cool.

Provides good word and excel software that is sufficient for personal or home office use.

I haven't upgraded since Office 2007 and running Windows XP. Needless to say, it's a whole new world. What things I have done so far, are somewhat logical. I appreciate the tutorials and will jump in soon. I'm looking forward to learning tips and tricks to become much more efficient. Kind of expensive. It would be great for Microsoft to give us consumers a break on this software since so many people use it.

It's always useful to have all of this on your computer when your a college student

Seems to be as good as my last one. Remembers what I need to do on a daily basis.

Is a great software, very easy to install, very easy to use. Price a little expensive. But combine with offers or Rewards.

I needed to purchase this software to install the Office Home Suite to use Microsoft Work and Microsoft Excel primarily. The software works fine and I am still getting used to the updated version as my work computer has not yet upgraded to this software. A bit of a learning curve on where things have been strategically moved to, but overall it gets the job done. I am pleased with the purchase.

I was under the impression that ANY Office program would contain 4 items, Word, Excel, PowerPoiint and Outlook -- unfortunately, this version did not have Outlook and I refuse to pay almost the same price for the package as for a stand-alone version of just Outlook.Would only recommend if you don't want Outlook - otherwise get a different package!! Not so nice Microsoft. You let me down!!

I upgraded from a 2006 version. There are not alot of changes. So most will find it easy to upgrade to. But beware when i transfered several spreaadsheets from my old version to the new it scambled a bunch of the formulas and lost over 3 months worth of work. DOUBLE CHECK your transfer of data. I don't care for the tool bar at the top. Liked the old one better, but I can live with it.

I have used this product for years at work. Now using it at home for a small business. Use word and excel all the time!

So I like Microsoft Office. You have a trade off going on here with this edition. You don't get Publisher or Outlook, which sucks. But for most people they don't use them anyhow. But at $139, that's kind of pricey but yet it's not when it's an one-time fee and then you forever own it, you aren't paying Microsoft a yearly fee like you are most of their other Office subscriptions, so that's nice. So you got good and bad. And again, Microsoft Office is a good Office Suite.

Word and excel are essential and this has us covered for a reasonable price.

Microsoft Office is my product of choice even though there are similar ones available. It is easy to use for writing and editing and that is what I do. The PowerPoint is wonderful for presentations. Excel is outstanding for tables, graphs and charts. I use the software to help my grandchildren with proofing and writing.

this version of office has everything I need to get school and work done. It was easy to install and set up.

So far I've only used Word and Excel. Word seems the same as in Office 2003 but Excel has changed with a lot of information along the top of the screen. To my 71 year old mind the older version seemed simpler but that is probably because I'm new to this version. I think it will be at least as good as the old version when I used to locating all the functions.

I am 64 and still working and am being dragged kicking and screaming into the IT 21st century. I only take on what tech I absolutely need and the Geek Squad has been awesome in taking the stress out of having to adopt new tech. The primary reason I consistently patronize Best Buy is because of the access to Geek Squad. Office is a good program that I could get anywhere.

In our jobs we work on Word, Excel, etc. and it's nice to work on familiar software at the home office as well.

The Windows Office suite is a work horse. My only issue was with Windows email. Had to install Windows Live email to obtain the mail server synchronisation options I needed for my mobile device. Had geek squad install the Office suite since I didn't want to take the time. With my service plan, they identifI'd I needed Live and helped me with the install.
