GS installed and gave me a short tutorial which helped. So happy to have word as my last computer did not.

purchased office separately from laptop. should have been included and overall not really worth the extra price but limited options.

Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase of the latest Version of Microsoft Office for Home and Students. The software bundle has more features and capabilities that the old/former version of MS Office, however, I would have liked to be able to simply purchase a less expensive "Online Update" directly from Microsoft (via Microsoft.com) instead of having to purchase the new software and discs for a much higher overall price. My Best Buy Sales Associate was extremely knowledgeable, and I would rate him a "10" out of "10"... Great Job Best Buy!!

While I do not use this product for business purposes, I find it very helpful in keeping all of my volunteer documents organized. I use it for power point presentations, creating documents, etc and find it more than meets my needs.

I purchased the actual program on CD because I do not feel the need to have pay for something annually. By purchasing it the way I did, it will save me money in the long run.

This program is an important addition to my home computer. It enables me to write business letters, as well as personal communication. I enjoy the versatility of the program.

I cannot express enough how happy I am that I can download this onto my computer without a cd, I think every program should come this way! (obviously I haven't purchased software in a good long while, haha). I haven't had the chance to check out the entire suite, but I was impressed when I opened up word and a bunch of templates came up. Talk about ease of use! A great way to teach my kids about generating professional looking documents.

I use it everyday for homework. I think it's ridiculous that computers don't come with it on it and you have to purchase seperate.

I don't need the recurring payments or the stuff that comes with Office 365 just yet so it is nice that I am still able to pay for the full version without monthly payments.

having trouble in copying and saving spreadsheets without creating a new sheet. Can't insert blank lines after copying a set of lines you want to place in the empty cells!

This is the standard for office software. Excel and Word are great programs. They take getting used to if you have been using an earlier version.

Overall, simple for the things that I need to do for work and the conversion works with most modals

Even though I "grew up" on Lotus 1-2-3 and the early versions of Excel and Word, I really enjoy the 2013 Office package. Setup was okay, and I know it is old fashioned, but an online manual is annoying. However, it has been very easy to adapt to the logical tab layouts, functions. Now, if somebody could just do something with the new Windows . . .

I was reluctant to purchase this product because I still had the VERY old 2003 version of Microsoft Office. I didn't want to spend the money on something that I "already had." I am so glad that my husband talked me into this purchase though. There are many new features and I can open attachments in emails now and they format correctly :-) I was also able to price match this product, and get a small discount. I love that Best Buy really stands behind their name to make sure that I am really getting the best buy available.

I have currently been using Office 13 for four weeks now and it is absolutely fantastic. I think that they have upgraded cosmetically but more so Word is super fast and accurate. I like the enhancements on the grammar tools as well as the generic improvements. I haven't done much with the new Excel but PowerPoint and OneNote are great. OneNote got a major overhaul and it is just easier than ever to use. Powerpoint has become friendlier in my opinion and overall 2013 is great for college students or anyone looking for their Office update.

Microsoft is changing to a subscription access method in the near future. I wanted to own the software and was very pleased it remained available for purchase at this time.

I use Microsoft office in my job, so I wanted something that I was familiar with, but only needed Excel and Word. It was nice to be able to buy a this package at a reasonable price rather than pay for options that I will never use.

The home and student word does not work with my email. If I would have known this I would not have bought the cheaper chicken.

This product, is like, exactly what I expected it to be. I bought it so that I could, like, write papers and do school projects and stuff. So far it works. Fingers crossed!
