I purchased this as I am not ready to commit to Office 365. I am not a fan of subscription based software. Especially on a home PC that has minimal utilization. Based on that I chose to go with Office 2013.

Still has the Microsoft utilities you're used too. Worth the xtra $30 to "not" have to renew annually with the cloud...and it's yours. Pay once. Enough said!

The Office Suite for Home and Student is flexible enough for use by the uninitiated to a small business. Not to mention the powerful array this trio of apps provide to any student from HS through College.

I am enjoying the newest Office 2013. I still have a lot to learn though and I am slowly review the new features as I need them. I am still breaking old Office 2007 habits.

When we upgraded to a new laptop our old version of software wasn't compatible. We went to Bestbuy and they were great in helping us out. We love the software and it has everything we need for all our needs.

There is nothing I've tried that I have not been able to do with this program. User friendly and easy to use.

It is pricey for a student package, had to save the money but it was greatly needed. A very practical user friendly package.

Had this program installed when I purchased the computer - it works great for me because I use Word and Excel in my business.

Microsoft Office is essential in all computers. I think it should be a standard part of computers rather than having to purchase the program as an add on. The touch screen on the new computer is a nice option, but using the touch pad is not as user friendly as the wireless mouse I purchased to make the Microsoft Office easier to use. Many Office options are so much easier to use with the mouse vs the touch pad or touch screen. All in all it was a great investment Office was an absolute must!

I use Windows at my work place so I know it's good. However, it's not been activated on my new personal device yet.

I think MS Office just assumes that every user have a lot of experience with this program. I have used it for a long time but not extensively and when I go to the help it often takes me a while to find the solutions that are offered. For example Changing the default font in word documents. Help instructed me to click "Set as Default" but did not tell me where to find "Set as Default". Of course I did eventually find it but it could have been specified more clearly.

Newest version of office. I wish this program came free with the purchase of a Windows 8 computer because let's face it, all Windows users have to have it.

This is the all-in-one setup everyone needs to become affluent with computing. It had been 12 years since I had used excel and it was super easy to get back into the swing of things. I like how you can subtly customize the background look. Install was quick and painless. Everything you do can be saved to the cloud (Windows 8). I chose the basic bex ause I wasnt going to pay another $60 just to have Outlook. I use it at work anyway so that would have been a waste for me. 5 of 5 stars for me. Get it.

Wish it was cheaper. I also wish it came with the computers like they used to. Overall, it has all the programs needed.

You really need this if you'll do any word processing. It costs more than it should, but Microsoft essentially has you stuck

Has everything my son will lead in college. Microsoft Word for papers, XL for accounting, PowerPoint for presentations.

Makes computer easy to use. Office is great product Works good & easy match up for sending to others with older versions. .

A must have for any computer. We purchased to go along with a tablet purchase but returned it along with the tablet as we changed our mind on the tablet.
