Best software for students whop want to stand out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Students have an advantage in learning the applications included in the software. When my nephew does his power point presentation, his experience with excel, and word in class, the students and teachers are amazed. I sure he'll be recommended for a 4 year scholarship.

Office is a little different
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not used to this version of windows office. I am finding that it has more functionability but because of the added features it is a little confusing on where to find certain things. I guess it is going to take a little more probing and exploring on my part to really get used to all of what office can provide.

Great office program, for students & business!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is a great product, great features. The set up was very easy. The price is inconvenient especially as a student, and only being able to install it on one computer (whereas the older version you could download on 3 separate computers) is also inconvenient.

It is what it is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find this version of Office to be somewhat cumbersome and counter-intuitive, but it's easy to use once you figure out where Microsoft has moved everything. I really do like how many options are automatically shown right in the editing panes. Though there's a lot there, the visual is nicer than drop-downs.

Newest version of Office w/all the features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was glad to get MS OFFICE for my new desktop (purchased at BB for a great price w/trade in!) It is ahead of the version we use at work. Interface is very plain. Some may find that a plus. I prefer the old way of getting programs-on disc- but have adapted to keys/codes for reloads. I know I can work at home and on the road and have access to all docs and compatibility with any colleagues.

Very helpful for students
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a decent program for school usage. However, the grammar check for Word is, at times, incorrect. It will say that there is a problem with the grammar in the sentence even though it is actally correct. I really enjoy PowerPoint and all the different procedures/formulas one can perform when using it.

Happy with MS Office 2013
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me a couple days to get use to Office 2013 but I'm really happy with the way things have turned out. I do a lot of work with excel and word and I'm sure I don't scratch the surface of functionality that Office 2013 offers. Hope to expand my horizons with this easy to use suite of products.

MicroSoft does it again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There nothing like using MS Office for a few years only to find out they are going to issue a SO CALLED update that is going to be better! LOL!! The so called improvement is usually worst than the last worst one they issue. not to mention you have to relearn the mechanics of the program before you can to work it. And in their infinite wisdom they decide that certain features are no longer needed. Ever try to develop an index, or TOC, with word. Well I mean with the topics you would like to have in it. The writers apparently never use the program in a real life environment. I wonder if they have every heard the expression, IF IT AIN'T BROKE--DON'T FIX IT !!! Now for the final answer -- Would I recommend this to a friend? Considering that others I communicate with, also use MS Word, DO I REALLY HAVE A CHOICE?? Shouldn't there be third answer in addition to Yes or No? Something like, "I WOULD RATHER NOT ! Sorry Best Buy, I know you have no control over the situation. You guys do a great job. Go Geek Squad !!

Tried and True
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft office is simply a staple for any student like myself. In fact, college probably would cease to exist without all of the papers and presentations and spreadsheets office can crank out. As a student, you really can't beat it. It's easy to use all of the programs and the more you mess with them, the better your grades seem to get. Buy it and graduate, enough said!

Best spreadsheet application
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the newest version of the already proven spreadsheet program. Compared to the last release, it is a little difficult to navigate at first and becomes more user friendly with time and experience. Warning, it is a resource hog and definitely uses a ton of memory compared to prior versions.

office is the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.just gets better, been using it for 25 years. Always recommend MS office. its expensive for one computer, but it is hard to beat. I think one license should be good for at least 2 computers, and i would push for 3. I have a desktop and 2 laptops. Most of my friends have at least 2 computers. We just use Open office on the other computers or keep using our old Office.

Does everything that I need!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does everything I need to do. Bought this with a new Dell Desktop which has Windows 8. All of my previous documents created using Word 2003, on my old Windows XP Computer, opened perfectly with Office Home and Student 2013 with no issues. Also easily converted them for editing with no issues.

Nice rendition of a standard program
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For someone who likes to pay for something once and not have to worry about renewing, this is the way to go. For a regular user of Office who runs a version of it until MS stops supporting it, this is the way to go. No yearly dues, no rental fees, just a one-time quick and easy purchase.

Office for those who still only want to pay once.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for my parents farm computer and they don't need to upgrade often (last computer was still running Office XP). I personally use Office 365 and prefer it since I can use it on multiple devices. This version can only install once but you will never have to pay an annual subscription.
