Easy to download... No issues what so ever. Works perfectly with Windows 8.1

I have been using 2007 since it was released. Finally got a new computer and the newest version of this. They keep making it better and better.

I bought this for my daughter in high school for her new laptop. It is a total download (no DVD in the box, simply a license key) The licensing is a bit confusing and we finally navigated through the process. The product is pricey, and a lot of students have converted to free MS Office compatible products.

I find that they open in non edit mode and it will take a long time, as soon as I click edit works fine

I was extremely cautious when I realized that I would have to move to Windows 8 which was all app based, but I'm honestly enjoying this. Not much of a computer guru but I get my work done and love to be able to have multiple Office programs running at the same time, and easily moving from one to the other.

Initial set up was what I expected but had difficulty with being able to not have everything going to ICloud to be saved. The use of my flash drive to save and not all going to the cloud should be an option in the initial set up as well. Overall the program is what I needed for school at this time.

This years Microsoft is different from the one we had, its a little bit more difficult to maneuver.

I have used Office for years at work and at home. I needed a new version when I bought a new laptop, there are several different version that can be bought. I didn't like the idea of having to pay every year for updates so I opted for this version. It only took about 5 minutes to install on my new laptop and will work with the programs and spreadsheets that I use at work.
