I have used Microsoft Office before so I knew what I was buying. One thing I had never used before was the technical assistance that I needed from Microsoft. It was great.

the programs wore perfect. now i can work in different pcs and keep all my files sync.

If you are going to keep your computer for awhile and will be using Microsoft Office, this is the product you want. Office 365 is just a subscription that you will continue to pay for. There are no more costs after the initial purchase. I just wish it would integrate with the programs that come loaded onto the computer. You already get an Offiice pre-loaded. Why do I have to download the version I purchased? In any case, you get a good product after a little hassle.

With a new pc, it did not come with a office program and the pc was for my daughter who is in school. obviously office program is a must. I just wish it was less expensive.

I've been using office practically my whole life. I can't live without it. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because, in recent years, it seems like it's gotten more expensive, but you get less.

Microsoft Office is always great. I use word and excel often. Both are great.

I was “raised” on Windows and am a frequent user of both Word and Excel. I know both applications like the back of my hand. When I switched over to a Mac I was “to old” to learn new software applications (actually, I didn’t want to) so the fact that I could get Word and Excel on my Mac (and since, on my iPad) I love it!!

I have always used Office. Bought Office & Student again with my new computer. Haven't used all the features but I am very satisfied with what I have used.

Word, Excel and Power Point are my staples -- always have worked for all my needs.

It's a good standalone Office Suite. That said, you will not have Outlook and you will not be able to buy it as an add on. They don't tell you that at the store. Also, its is for one PC only and cannot be moved to another PC or reinstalled if your HD fails. So be sure to back up you hard drive so you can ghost it later. Last note: there will be no updates to newer versions of this program.
