The price never changes much over the years and that is great since each new version has amazing updates. This is a great product for home use, school or businesses (big or small). ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It has been a few years since I had to purchase Microsoft Office, and I was very disappointed that they seem to keep trying to make it a subscription item where you purchase it by the year, instead of just having to pay once, so I had to pay a much higher price, so that my son has access to it throughout the remainder of his senior year in high school and college, since it was a gift for him.

What else is there really? I would prefer to use Google Docs but since we needed Office for work purposes, we had to reach into our pockets. Office is still a wonderful tool and it works great. I would buy this over the 365 version any day.

What a Set of Programs!

The suite is so powerful and will meet all of my needs, plus things you wouldn't imagine. I date back to the IBM Displayer era and have seen Microsoft Office progress to Office 2016 over the years. It's such a powerful set of programs. I have a lot to learn going forward.
