When I had issues with the program, Geek squad cleaned it up and reloaded with updates.

Have used Office 2010 for years with few problems. However, changes in 2016 have made programs less user friendly; have been using a duplex printer for years but 2016 didn't recognize it as such and would only print duplex manually. After over an hour with Microsoft support, they abandoned me. I finally tried downloading the printer driver and voila, it works. Don't like the way the Open options are configured; more confusing.

Microsoft has a bit of a monopoly on these core productivity applications. I don’t want the subscription model right now, so buying a single license met my needs. The bonus was getting $20 off when I bought the software in conjunction with a laptop purchase.

I purchase office home mainly for my kids so they can work on their homework, and finding out what other features it offers I have used it myself its easy to work and make projects of my own .I recommend this product for the whole family Im positive every one will find a use for it.

Microsoft's Office Home & Student 2016 program is a great product to have for use on your computer.

I love Microdoft products! Wish you didn't have to pay extra after spending sooo much on a computer

This should be able to get you all future updates but Windows wants to force a long term subscription

Knowing Microsoft Office is essential for anyone using a PC. It has become more sophisticated and can do much more than it used to do.

I love the Office Products and my husband uses it for his business. So when we updated the computer, it made sense we had to upgrade our Office as well. The only complaint I had was during the install, it seemed to take forever! I am not sure if my Wi-Fi was just slow that day or if it truly took that long to download and update.

It was the perfect option for the newest version of Windows Office for our new desktop.

Office is all but mandatory for college classes but I wish there was another viable option. I don’t have an issue, necessarily, with Office but with M$. We bought a new laptop with a 90 day trial of Office 365 along with Office Home & Student 2016. I was told that the software was already loaded on the machine and all we needed to do was enter the code on the back and Office would be good to go. That wasn’t the case at all. Office 365 started conflicting with Office Home & Student and we ended up needing four different techs from Microsoft to clean up the mess of uninstalling Office 365, then downloading and installing Office H&S. You will have to set up an account with M$ just to activate Office. The first tech I had to deal with assigned the activation code to an Outlook email address that wasn’t ours. Both the second and third tech kept claiming that once the key code is assigned to an account there was no re-assigning the product. The third tech was the one that figured out the conflict and uninstalled Office 365 and started the download of Office H&S. I was disconnected from the third tech before the download was completed. The fourth tech had to get a new product code to assign our MS account reflecting our proper email address. For some reason another uninstall/download/re-install was necessary because… why not. Setting up the M$ account is intrusive. I shouldn’t have to provide birth dates and phone numbers just to activate software that I purchased. Once upon a time a paying customer would just buy software on physical media and didn’t have to provide enough information to open an unsecured loan to get it to start. All told M$ wasted 6 hours of my life just to get their product to work. I’m sure my story isn’t typical but MS doesn’t have any regard for their customer’s time.

One time purchase and keep it forever. It's only for one computer but it works for me.

This is way better than paying a monthly fee.... Unless you need to do more than type.

I create documents and spreadsheets for myself, as well as committees I serve. Very user friendly!!

good program, I don't have much else to say its a choice I made to use on computer it works for me

I have always been a Office Fan and usually purchase it for all my computers and laptops. This edition seems to be working well. I had to take back a laptop it was installed on but t was able to use key code on new laptop after call to customer service and few hoops. Working fine!
