When purchasing make sure it is registered with Microsoft. Just purchased two separate programs and the first downloaded perfectly. The second took hours and hours finally contacting Microsoft who downloaded remotely onto our computer which took 5 hours. Once it was downloaded it worked correctly.

When hubby purchased his last computer he did not purchase a Word program so once the "free" version expired we could not edit anything. I didn't want a subscription product so I purchased this. Based on some reviews, I was somewhat concerned about installation. I purchased the product key and when it arrived I went through the set up steps and had no problem whatsoever. I am now able to edit previous documents easily. I'm still trying to figure out how to convert a Word doc to an Excel doc but I've not lost any sleep over getting it done. Overall, I'm pleased with this software.

This is a great product and we have been using Microsoft for years and years. For professional use as a school teacher and for home and person use this is hard to beat. Whether working on personal projects or school work at home Microsoft has been reliable and easy to use.

The system is easy to navigate. And the new features are amazing.

I use the Word and Excel programs for most of my accounting and memo storage. Would be lost without them. I sometimes use the other features of Office Home. They work well also.

Let's face it, you need to have a word processing and spreadsheet program and there is nothing better than Microsoft Word and Excel. I was going to upgrade from Office 2007 to Office 2010; but decided it wasn't necessary. My new Windows 10 computer was able to my old software o Office 2007.

What can I say, I use this at work and at home, grand daughter starting college needed new laptop and word processing software. Easy choice. Seems like everyone uses it, and it seems to be the preferred choice for other applications. Got it on sale so double the props.

I know there are other ways to send documents right now but I still need this as this is the most commonly used software with everybody whom I deal with - school, work, business, friends, family. What can I do but shell out $100+ whenever I buy a new computer (hmmm Microsoft, Apple Smapple?)

Purchased new desktop tower and needed to add Office program to the hard drive. Office 2016 was replacing 2010 Office. Took a short time to get adjusted to the changes from 2010 but worth every minute of it. Would definitely buy again as the speed is better and the prograws are wonderful.

When buying a laptop the price of the Microsoft Home and Student was reduced $20. Seems like a no brainer to buy and install it rather than pay rent on it every year. I intend to use it for as long as updates are provided and Microsoft does very well and for many years.

Seems as if Word is essential in this day and age so you have to fork even more over to Microsoft to get it. There are free programs out there but it is easier to have the real deal.

Although I am still getting used to the new look and feel and layout off the new office (now in the 'style' of Windows 8) the features and functionality are still the same from the previous versions. If you like working with clouds etc, it has that functionality built in too (oneNote)

Not as easy to set up as it was in the old days with a disc but not too difficult either. I had to look up how to set desktop icons but the information was easy to find and easy to apply. I do not need a subscription service for Office so this works for me.

My other operating system (Windows Vista) had Works. If wouldn't convert Works to the latest Word program on Windows 10. But I found 2 free Microsoft programs that will convert it from Works to Word. Thankfully I was able to keep my documents without having to type them again.

I have loved office for years now. Self-trained with it, I can create the many spreadsheets I need for home and business use. I can create personal word documents. I'm teaching myself now to use PowerPoint 2016 as well. Very happy with this purchase also.

Needed office suite for college classes or purchase something similar through school. Microsoft offers a variety of projects some of which may not be utilized but are available if ever required. Extremely easy to set up, can't go wrong with this product.

Still exploring some of the newer Office 2016 features, but so far everything works excellently and having no problems integrating older files.

I've been a Office user for years through my employer. I started Law School and needed to add the program to my home computer (since the last copy I had on my home system was Microsoft Word 2000!) Very happy with the newer version and very user friendly!

I deicded to buy the student version for a number of reasons. You don't have to renew every year and I don't need publisher or outlook. I have publisher at work if needed and I use Gmail for my personal needs. The computer I bought it for personal reasons.

Updated from Windows 8 to Windows 10 and for some reason, my previous version (WORD, Power Point, Excel), was not compatible? Received 30-day 'trial' and then was locked out. Worked on Windows 7 & 8 but not 10? Got this updated version and all is good. Works as it should.
