These functions suited my needs which admittedly since I retired in 2010 are modest. When I purchased a new computer, I purchased the windows 10 version of Office suite. So far my reaction is that The Windows 10 version of these products adds complexity without adding value for me. Even the most basic of functions ( save and print for example) seem to be difficult to find so I went back to " control p" and other old time functions. Maybe I will win learn to love the updated version but right now that certainly is not the case.

I especially like the Publisher program for design and I use excel for lots of projects and lists. I can't justify an annual subscription, but I think this version will fit my usage needs.

I will probably never use the PowerPoint and seldom use Excel, but it's nice to know they are there if I should ever need them.

With that being said, "renting" office monthly through the subscription option doesn't make much sense so I purchased the more expensive option and it works as expected.

Better value than Office 365

Bundled one time price seems to be better value than annual fee for Office 365. Easy install. Good upgrade from our Office 2007 and no CD/DVD required. Laptop lacks Optical drive. So far performs for our needs.

A great resident Program

This program fit the bill and I am happy that I purchased it. It can do as much as you want or in my case as little as I need it to do.
