Microsoft Office Home & Student for one computer easy to install online. If you do not want to have it linked to your Microsoft account upon installing, choose "local account" instead. Proceed with the installation.

I purchased a new All in One computer and I wanted to add Microsoft Word. I didn't realize that it was a program that was no longer preinstalled. I sure was glad that Best Buy informed me of this. It was worth the additional expense.

I think it is better overall than Microsoft 2010, however, I haven't had time to explore all the functions. I encountered a problem trying to turn in documents to my Distance Ed courses but it was due to compatibility issues on their end. Still, I have to convert my documents before I can turn them in which then loses some of the more advanced formatting.

Word is Word, etc. The product did what it was supposed to do and i loaded the applications with no problem. On second thought i probably should have gone with Office 365 to get the other apps (Publisher, Access).

I knew I needed office software for my work related activities. I wasn't about to pay for it on an annual basis, so I paid the one time fee. Since I will be keeping my laptop for a long time, it was the most cost efficient plan.

Needed office for my new laptop so that my children can do homework. I was considering office 365 but when this one went on sale for $100 I figured this was a better deal. No $65 a year even though you do not get the upgrades.
