Why rent it when you can own it. Yes pricey but was a good choice to own it. I like the software for business and home!!!!

No yearly renewal, one time payment, good for the life of PC. Big discount when I bought a new PC received half price off of office home and student.

This version of office suits my needs....don't need the 360 product bells & whistles and updates so the price is right..

have used excel for the most part considering that i am most familiar with it and use it quite a bit for all my stuff.

this has some great features but i am still used to with old office, i guess after sometime i will be used to this as well

With the new computers you must buy Office 360. Depending on your needs you can choose which option is best for you.

Office 2016 was desired for wife's new laptop. She is pleased with the latest version of the programs she uses.

I am glad that you are able to purchase the basics and that it is permanent. Unlike Office 365 where you have to renew every year. Good product for the price.
