Wasn't Compatible with Legacy Software
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This software was not compatible with a primary software I use because it takes developers time to update compatibility every time a new version is released. BB did not have any other version and so I got this, thinking it would work. Best Buy staff were super nice helping me out with returning it so I could get the version that worked for me (2010 version). Microsoft customer service on the other hand was a nightmare. No surprise there.

Love the compatibility

One thing I found is that it is not only BACKWARD compatible, e.g., reads older versions of Office files (even going back to the -03 versions), but its 2016-version files are easily readable on a 2010 version of Office software. That saves having to "save as" an older version when swapping files between my 2010 Office-equipped laptop & older desktop and this newer version.
